Update day 40 for these auto flowers and they have started flower phase. They are taking in 60oz of fluids each with little run off about every 4 days. These are 3gal bags and i lift them to judge the need for fluids. Yesterday i began feeding the bloom nute along with the growth nute but way less. I'm going to use both to see if it prevents early yellowing.

I'm done using LST and never topped so i'll have a large main stem cola. Temps and humidity are fine as long as i leave standing water in the trays under the pots. It's 20f outside, my house stays at 70f. Tent is holding at 78 and drops to 65 lights out. Being autoflower i leave flaps and port holes open and door flap opened abit. Stay warm growers

I'm close to harvesting two Royal Creamatic autos from RQS. They started so slowly I'm surprised they made it. I haven't grown many autos, so I consider any crop that finishes to be a success. I snipped a bud yesterday as a sample, and it was excellent. This strain is supposed to be 15% THC and medium CBD. The sample gave us a very pleasant and relaxing high. It was surprisingly potent. We're really looking forward to getting these dried and cured. I don't think the yield will be worth bragging about, though. It might be 2 to 3 ounces.

So far, my problem growing autos have been slow starting, so I've been trying different nutrients, soil and light levels. For my next grow, I'm going to try soil plugs from RQS to see if that helps. It might be a while before I start more autos, though. I have a request for White Widow photos, so they'll be next in the tent the autos are in now. We're also starting to plan for an outside grow this year that could include more autos.

Yes sometimes they do just sit there like a deer in the headlights. Then they take off once their roots really like the space they grow fast. I am more into photoperiods but i keep auto seeds around for the frustrations LOL

Good morning Farmers
I'm calling this auto grow being in week 1 of flower now i gotta write this down in my calendar just for reference. Day 45ish from sprout close to it anyway gotta a little fungi in the soil which is good. I don't believe they were over watered i just gave them only water this a.m. when lights came on it's just a healthy soil I hope.
Pardon the dirty looking grow bags LOL i should of washed them prior to planting this round but got excited about growing some Mephesto autos. The are those Grappa crosses. Double grape x forum stomper. Anyhoo, they are doing OK i think, of course i got heavy on the early training but they stayed healthy LOL. I hoped that they'd stretch more beings that there 24" from the light which is at 100%. I've been feeding full bloom nutes when i first noticed pre flower and also stayed with the grow part but only 1/2 of what they were getting. I'll taper that off to 1/4 of grow just to keep them from yellowing too early.

That's all for the update on this grow. It's nice outside in the 50s with rain better than 20s f like it was. Have a good day all.

Hello and Good Morning you Motley Crew of Farmers

7 day update on the 4 auto flowers now entering wk. 2 of flower. Pretty happy about the health of these little gals i think i finally figured out not to totally cut off the N during flowering in the first month. Yes i will cut it from my nute mix towards wk 4-5 an just go with 0-10-10 NPK.

I am removing leaves and these did not stretch as much as i hoped, say la V that's just the way it goes. We'll see how these fill out moving forward. Kinda weird to me if you notice in pic 3-4 that those lower branches seem to be trying to bud but have'nt yet late bloomer light may be too far i don't know? The lamp is at 100% 25" from tops. It's raining and kinda warm almost like April showers here. I looked at the next week of weather and by Wed. it says 68f well i'll take it LOL no complaints about that from me LOL.

Hello Farmers my plants are on 58 since sprout and 3wks of flower. My area has just gone through a 5 day period of spring weather days were in the mid to upper 60's f and man it felt good on my bones. Now it's back to rain and humidity is up in the tent 55% with lights out. I'm going to begin a more vigorous bit of defoil towards the centers on these plants and from the base to several inches up the stems. I start to get anxious when the nodes/bud sites are so dense and these Grappa autos from Mephisto are stacking pretty thick and i'm just barely into flower. I may even remove several tie downs. These did'nt stretch as much as i hoped but stayed short mostly do to my LST i guess.
Fed them 2 days ago with bloom only, i don't want anymore leaf production. Tent has been seeing 78-80f with lights on and door left open to run fan/air for 2hrs a day. Flaps remain open as well as door slightly cracked. Hope everyone has a good day, spring will be here soon hang in there.

Hey Gal.

It sounds like spring where you are. You're lucky. Ottawa, Ontario is 0 F today (guess what the F stands for...).

Your plants are looking healthy. If you defoil in flower be gentle.

Some strains are just short. I've got a couple Mohan Ram fem (not auto) growing now which have been defoliated a bit but internodes are sooo short. I'll go to flower soon and hopefully they stretch out.

My last set of autos also didn't stretch and were very dense at the lower branches. I'm looking to do better next time. It'll be at least a month till my next harvest and a tent is available. So, I have time to think about it. I have two complete auto grows now, so I'm understanding these plants better and starting to like growing them.

Looking great Gal! Yeah we’re back to winter down here also, i was looking at busting the AC out in the shed if that heat were to keep up!

I smiled when you mentioned you are finally getting the N feeding down in flower : ) that so far has been the hardest thing for me is the pre load for the stretch (and I kill seedlings but I dont want to talk about that LOL)

later!

Short strains are some growers dream! I like a nice globe (3-4’ wide / tall) that dosent over stretch

Awesome strains to keep around to avoid those light too close issues

They all look great!
