Im liking your natural amendment method a lot. I have been thinking of trying mixing nutricote (slow acting heat released fertilizer) into the promix and water only.

Starting week 2 of 12/12. Some girls are getting their stretch on. The ESO girls in the tent look healthy and the Catatonic plants from Nirvana look good as well in their 3x2. I’m watering every 5th day with 36oz of water bubbled with Mammoth P, Orca and oatmeal. They like it!
Morning pics
I also picked up some fish bone meal, Dolomite lime and earthworm castings for my next tote of soil

Today is watering day...... every 5th day seems to be to long of a wait since the local temperatures are rising. Plants were a bit droopy yesterday and still are this morning. But I did give them 36oz of water each, they should look better later today. The catatonic plants don’t seem to be phased by the higher temps.
I do have one plant with some spotting. It is an orange berry smoothie by Eso Genetics. I’ve included a pic of a leaf, there are several leaves similar to it but just very mild spotting. I top dressed with a tablespoon of Dolomite lime and worked it into the soil before watering. She should be fine in a week or so. One strain I’m growing also by ESO is Black Grape Dum Dum... she is a slow growing plant and slow to flower. I new this going in but am hoping for a nice smoke when it is all said and done.
Happy growing.

Good morning
Catatonic looking good vegged and flowered under 3500k CXM22’s in my 3x2.
ESO Genetics also looking good under 3000k Cxm22’s and a mix of blurple LED.
so many people talk or talked shit about blurple lights..... and now everyone is wanting reds or an array of led diodes. They always mention efficiency or efficacy. Just my opinion coming here..... if you’re growing in a closet like many of us, a couple more watts of electricity is not gonna make that much of a difference.
I’m not an LED nerd, just a dude that tries to grow some healthy dank.
I mean if you have zero DIY skills buying a large blurple fixture without any cobs is a pretty good option, I say this because it seems the retail fixtures that have cobs are quite a bit more money. This is just my opinion and directed mostly at new growers.
stay safe ya’ll

Just a link to my blurple fixture, VIPAR600.
Like I was saying earlier, it isn’t a commercial grow light, but it does a decent job.

It’s saturation Saturday! All my girls are looking spry. I thinned a few leaves this morning. I try to leave nearly most of the leaves intact but I do trim them back for airflow and I trim things off that aren’t getting any light. I opened up some of the plants with some light training using garden wire. They each got 36 oz of water today and the one plant that had calcium spots is doing great. I threw in a yardstick for scale, sometimes it’s hard to tell just how big plants are..... so now ya know

Coming to the end of week three, everything is copacetic and looking nice. I topped dressed 1 catatonic with 2tbls of AcidMix from DOWN TO EARTH. It was abit lighter than I like this early on. She should be fine in a couple of days. I’m expecting to have to add some amendments to these plants as the flowering stage goes on. The soil that I used for these plants came directly from my last harvest... The soil did not get to cook at all.

I noticed that this morning lol I don't know if it's a trick of the lighting or not but the white light side looks fuller to me?! The middle looks thickest, maybe mix them up, or maybe put the blurple in the middle?! Humm..? See this right here would drive me crazy!?! I'd be wanting to try all different combinations LOL that's why I stick with the HIDs! ✌

OK I’ve labeled each plant with the date that the popped seed was put in soil. The labels are on the back of the tent. The majority of the plants that are under cobs on the right are smaller with less stretch. BUT those plants from what I’ve read are normally smaller with a smaller yield.
I have noticed over a couple of years that plants under my blurple lights do stretch a little more.
16 plants all but 2 are ESO GENETICS.

I looked at my calendar and I decided to do a hard flip to 12/12 yesterday evening. Yesterday all plants were given a heavy watering to “set” the pots. I had potted up a couple of days ago. A couple of ESO plants were showing some signs that they were hungry.... I top dressed those plants with crab meal and blended it in with the surface soil. I use MAMMOTH P & Orca during my waterings. I’ve also just about quit using molasses..... I use oatmeal instead brewed as a tea to feed the microbes. They look much better this morning.
For you CBD growers I’ve included a pic of the catatonic grow also. They are looking spry also.

What you guys can’t see is a have 24” fan hanging from the ceiling right in the center to help cool the cobs and circulate air. I would rather have the blurple lights in the middle. If I move them around I’ll have to figure out my fan situation

3.5 weeks into 12/12, I watered this morning with a bubbled tea. All the girls received 36oz. I watered last time on Tuesday. I did top dress all plants with 2tbls of DOWN TO EARTH’s ACID MIX.
leaf temps are running around 75* F . All are looking good, they would be happier if there weren’t so many in there but that’s how I do it for now.
