Anybody have slow germination rate with Durban sunrise Auto?

I don't know about auto, I've never been a fan of auto's. I have had experience with true Durb, last year it took 10 days to just crack the shell. In paper towels, Ziploc, on a heating pad @ 74°F.

drop it in water for 24 hrs
Seeds come with a "wax-like" coating. Very gently scuff the seed using fine grain sand paper and then drop it into water for 24 hrs. This allows for the water to enter into the seed a bit more easily and can help in solving some germination issues.

However, my favorite method Root Riot Cubes/Rapid Rooter Cubes. Very similar products, just basically different brands for the same. I've had excellent luck with these over and above all other methods .... including germination in paper towels.

It's something with Durb, it's a hearty plant. Phenomenal growth once you get her goin. Might just order some soon .
Good arms to ya! Would like to see progress in the coming weeks.

Germination rates can change depending on a lot of factors.

Carefully scuff the outside of the seed with a nail file.

Soak your seed in distilled water for a day.

Then plant.

And don't F with it. Don't dig it up and look at it. Don't touch it. Leave it alone.
