Hey all so this is my 1st grow and everything is going great but I'm having issues keeping the humidity down right now she is a GG4 auto in like week 7 of flower and it's very hot and humid outside 95 -100 degrees with feel like temps around 105-110 so I have the dehumidifier and heater going in the tent with temp set to 83 so I can go higher on temps but not sure if that's a good idea but I can't get the humidity below 62% so should I raise the temp or will I be ok at 60 - 65% humidity? Here's a current reading of conditions and a couple of pics of plant condition

temps between 70-80 degrees, humidity 50-60%, thats pretty much it, 65% a little high, just keep good air flow to prevent mold...

I still need advice on another thing I'm struggling with. I have a 160x75x60 cm cabinet. When I was buying filters, I told the seller that I need a filter that can handle high humidity and temperatures and what filter power I need for that. He recommended me a 240/360 m3/hr filter. But in the time my plants have been growing, even with 55% humidity in the room, the cabinet needs 70% humidity during the day at 26C between plants and 80% at night.... The filter is running at full power. Is this normal? I thought the flow would handle it and there would be no problems with humidity.

I had to extend the cabinet with a blackout tarp, under which I put a dehumidifier with a 12 litre/day output, so that keeps the humidity there acceptable. But I can't leave it like that. I have tried putting a small dehumidifier with a capacity of 0.9 litres per day in the cabinet, but that is not enough, it had no effect. I haven't found a small but more powerful one. I think it's almost certain that my flower will get moldy, right? Even strong airflow throughout the space wouldn't help?

Unless I'm still hoping that defoliation in the transition to bloom will help. I've been having these humidity problems since the leaves grew. When I defoliate them, they come back within three days, but in the meantime the humidity drops to normal levels.

A filter will not lower humidity, it will filter solid particles, only a dehumidifier will lower your rh.

I asked about the power of the filter because I have a powerful fan with adjustable speed, so I set the fan speed accordingly and I wanted the power to be such that it could remove the humidity from the grow room and be similar to the humidity in the room.

Nope, sorry, your fan and filter won't lower your humidity.
Air movement thru your plant can help mitigate problems from high humidity to a small degree.

And how else do you deal with humidity? I see pictures of little tents full of plants and no dehumidifier.

A large and powerful dehumidifier does not fit in small tents and also increases the temperature considerably.

Lung room air that goes into the tent is a lot of times what people will adjust. For example, my dehumidifier (which I desperately need in summer months) resides outside of my tent. Less humid air gets drawn into the tent and that's how I control RH in the tent when too high.

Well, as I write above, I have 55% humidity in the room, but in the tent between the plants it's 70-75% and the temperature is 26-27C, even though I have the fan still on at 240m3/hr. If I turn off the light, it will quietly go up to 85%, but that also drops the temperature quite a bit, which affects the humidity. Or is it necessary to have the room much more dehumidified? I'm going through some humidity threads here now, so hopefully I'll learn something there.

Perhaps my failure to mention that I have an inline fan that pulls air into the tent, filters, and exhausts into the attic has left a hole in this story . Sorry to leave that important bit of info out!
