Hello everyone. I am a brand new grower on my first two plants and seem to be dealing with lockout. (Im growing in soil) based off the research Ive done,
Right now, my plants are in about week 4-5 of veg (i received them from a friend right after they entered veg) in 5 gallon fabric pots
I water with half a gallon per pot with a range of 6.6-6.8 ph, I understand if that's pushing it. I feed about once a week or a tad couple days longer, and add cal-mag every other feeding. But I cant seem to get my soil below 7.1.
Right now my lower leaves seem to be developing some yellow edges with some discoloration and drooping. I topped about a week ago and they seem to developing but i Feel like i should have seen more growth.
I guess my question is, do you guys flush this early in the grow if there is excess nuts or do you avoid feeding for a week to flush out nuts? How much water used to flush? Or overall how do you take care of this and prevent it from happening again? Thank yall!

I doubt you have a ph problem a ph of 6.6-6.8 is well within the acceptable limits.
Week 4-5 of veg unless you have been well over feeding I would doubt you would have a lock out issue albeit it’s possible.
Post a picture try posting it full screen rather than a thumbnail.
When you topped a week ago the plant would of stressed & wouldn’t of grown much for the first 3 days
Slow growth can be a result of a few issues however it’s normally caused by overwatering & over feeding both can be accompanied by dropping so it’s possible your over feeding or overwatering
The droopy/yellow edges I need to see a pic.
Tbh a pic will say a 1,000 words

Week 4-5 of veg is highly unlikely you have a lockout issue

There are signs of over feeding
Not drastic mind
I don’t suggest flushing just cut down on the nutes.
What are you feeding if it’s organic you don’t need to worry about the ph as you don’t ph organic grows.
I can’t really see the dropping without a seeing the whole plant

I took these after watering. I watered with twice the amount of water my last watering two days ago and they are still a bit wet, I had not seen your responses by this time about possible over feeding. The plant on the right is a little bit more compact, and not as affected as the one on the left, but the Top growth is showing a little bit less vibrant green than the one on the left. I have my light about 22 inches from my plant. It’s a 100 W and I have it at full blast after seeing that I might be over feeding. I might just do a little bit less intensity of a feed next time. But right now my feeding schedule has been thrown off. There is also a little bit of towing on the left one if you can tell, I’m not sure. Any advice would help, I understand. My plant is not in huge stress right now, but I can tell that it’s going through something, maybe a nitrogen deficiency?

You can also tell that they are not holding up as firm and straight as they should be
