I grow in the north east. Higher altitude. I use 10 gallon grow bags with ocean forest plus amendments. Dumb ass gamble move on my part. Running Bubblegum Shebet and Future 1. Two strains great for a tent. Not so great outside. Prone to bud rot plus other molds. I dose heavily with mycorrazia and microbes and extra phosorous and potassium. They are frosting up. Stigma hairs are still mostly white and haven't changed yet. Microscope looked mostly cloudy. They are stinky and sticky. I was just doing my daily look around the plants doing my bud rot inspection. Walking between plants I touched my back against one of the girls and got like a sting or jolt. It's not the first time I've felt it. Just wondering if anyone else ever experienced it? Must be part of their defense mechanism or something to keep away critters. I just use trip wires and motion lights and cameras

Wear rubber soled shoes, and rubber gloves when you’re working on them! Never heard of such a thing! Extra, extra! Read all about it! Man electrocuted by pot plant! That’s a new one for Busby to look into!

I wasn't shocked I was stung like it poked me. Probably an allergic reaction to the trichomes and terps.

That's a first for me. I walk through fields of bud and never been zapped. I have broke out in hives during massive harvests. A couple days of chopping, trimming, hanging, and processing gets me every time

Sounds like it’s a one off static electric discharge. If shirtless, it could be the point of a leaf hitting an open pore just right. Consider it a wake up call.
