got some gg#4 seeds from @SeedSupreme and this'll be the first time i've grown it from seed. been warned that it can be sensitive to pH fluctuations so want to get the enviornment right - any idea of what pH range i should be aiming for during seedling? slightly more acidic or neutral? and how strict do i need to be about this? any advice would be appreciated - i've experienced nutrient lockout before and eager to avoid this time. thanks

I don't feed my seedlings for a month. I'm growing in soil so coco or hydro if that's what your plan is i don't know. I make a light seedling mix with worm castings mixed in seedling soil starter. I've grown GG#4 a few times one of my favs. I don't ph anything but that's my style of growing.

I have an original glue photo from Nirvana .. RN in FF OF ... The few times I have checked mine , has been 7. I'm close to week 16. Flowering .

My environment is poor , hot very humid never drops below 50 degrees . Porch runs 94 + degrees with a fan on.

Last year had the root bound issues and probably had some nutrient lockout on her she was my nemesis plant last year . But she was in a one gallon then, this year I put her in a 10 gallon fabric . Holly crap big difference she is massive . Happy and big lost my first yellow leaf on her yesterday .

If I ever run her again, I would say 7 gallon fabric would be ideal for this one . Keeping her more contained .

thanks. growing in soil too. you got on okay without testing pH? maybe im overthinking a little.

sorry soil yes. thanks for getting back. @voltage that's really helpful and thanks @katraiter for sharing your experiences too. will try and keep it between 6 and 7.
Nice! Yeah, for seedlings we'd suggest aiming for a slightly acidic pH - if it's soil try and keep it between 6 and 6.5. You don't have to be super strict but at least try and be consistent. And yeah, a decent pH tester will go a long way if you've had lockout issues before. No need to micromanage though.

Good luck with the grow! GG#4 is one of the best. And any other questions along the way just let us know
