Sign of too much nutes. The excess tends to block calcium first and the rust spots are typical of calcium deciciency or lockout. Adding more calcium ( and maybe magnesium) quickly made the problem worse. Run fresh water through to clear out the excess is my thought. Dont add anything. Should know the ec (ppm) of the medium going in and out to monitor this.
