I like the bags. Easy to store when no using. Easy to remove at up potting time and yes they are taller bags.

I use 7gal bags for a photo going into flower. I've used the fabric pots too but I like these the most. They do just as good a job.

So two questions.

1. What kind of bags you are growing in? Never seen those before.
2. What growing medium are you using? Perlite and coco? What is your ratio?

7gal plastic grow bags. Promix HP Myco straight outta the bag.

Hey y'all, been busy lately. So, thought I'd update my thread a little.

Cap Junky…85 days 12/12 plant #1

This is my keeper. I’ll be cloning this plant for a while. This is the best plant of the three CJs I grew. It has larger buds than the other two and is just drop dead gorgeous…lol

The long wait is over. I did sample her sister plants and oh yeah CJ is as powerful as advertised.

Compared to the other two plants it's a no contest. I'll be growing this strain for a while. I have two large well trained regular clones of this almost ready to flower.

Blue Moon Rocks...62 days 12/12 Harvest

Surprised me. I didn't expect them to ripen so fast. I'd been noticing they did appear to be getting there but didn't even look at triches till the other day.

Two plants. One did kick out some bananas I mentioned it above. Anyways, I didn't see any seed during the trim so maybe they will be okay.

Big thick bud. Some as long as 18" and much larger than the CJs. Solid bud and they still have that musky berry aroma.

Cap Junky...79days 12/12 Harvest

Been a easy grow with these girls. Two different girls here. One I'm not real happy with the leafy bud but she's a frosty mess. Can't wait to try these.

Plant #3 she kicked out some long spears above the floater. I'm keeping this plant around another run or two.

Plant #2
This plant was way to leafy. Frosty and all that but lacking in mass moreso than the others so this girl will not be rerun. She was a bit thirsty when I started on her.

Finally got these all strung up. Using my bathroom for this big load. I've found a dual use for the floaters. They make a nice grid to hang plants. Tie it to a hanger and holds the whole plant.

Bag of Oranges...5wks veg

Not even a foot tall but spread out like a hot breakfast. Got these three numbered and up potted to 7gal. They are growing pretty rapidly now. I expect even more now in their new medium. I'll give them a few days rest and then start a training floater on them. I don't think it'll take long till they are ready.

The air layer I tried on the CJ has worked out well. Cut her off and got her planted today. This should be a pretty big clone once it revegges.

I'm really liking this. Took it about two weeks to show roots. So if I throw say two or three air layers on a flowering plant I'll have large ready to go into reveg plants at harvest.

The idea of larger clones appeals to me and this obviously works well so I'll be making a habit of this. It'll take a good while for this to start kicking branches but it will...and many of them.

I've got some ideas for the air layering gig. Would be an easy way to turn a large vegging plant into 5 or 6 large mature clones. Divide it and have 5x the plants within days. Ready to go.

Or throw an a air layer on a well vegged plant. Put the plant in flower. At 21 days cut and divide the large rooted clones and reveg. They would reveg much fast than a harvest clone. Sounds like something I'd do....and I am planning to soon.

Flower tent is looking kinda bare but still doing it's thing. Swapped out the filter sock and swept out the place.

The three bushy top girls will get a floater at about 10 days. I'm trying a different approach this time. See what happens.

Cap Junky Chemdog 91 trained her under for 10days and she 3 wks now. I think I hit her just right on timing.

Big and small floaters be floatin in the veg tent. Won't be long and I'll have the big and little tent in flower.

Strawberry Banana..this leafy girl. She was a mess last round but I liked her potency n flavor so why not another farewell harvest.
Just days in flower it's kicking out some nice branching. Pretty big bush flowering clone. Monday it gets a floater and then it's off to harvest. Last run with this strain. I've got to many others needing cracked or cloned.
Took lots of leaf tonight. I'll remove any I need to at ten days, throw on a floater and let it fly.

These GreenCrack MangoHp queens are phat n wide. Both are monster clones and the branching is sick. Pics don't give these justice. They are going to make some nice sizes plants. Hard to beat a flowering clone.

Sharing my high tech propagation method for clones.

1 cup, tap water, gel, and a knife. Stove top light seems to do the trick so that's where I put them.

Cap Junky Chemdog 91 snagged some clones at 21days flower. 12/18 I took 6 of these so I'm going to keep track of just how long this 21day clone takes to root and reveg. I predict withing 45 days I'll have a nice flowering clone revegged and ready to roll for the next crop.

The SFV OGBX3 is ready for a pot...

The Blue Moon Rocks as well..

I've done the domes and stuff like that with clones too but this seems to give me a easy method that works prob 90% of the time. Just provide clean tap water every few days and they do well.

Blue Moon Rocks clones is prob mad now but she'll get over it. Split her North n South or East n West whatever..lol. Time to lay this girl out. It's a regular clone from an accidental snap off.

At this stage I remove a lot of leaf. It's gonna grow back fast and by doing this I'll see a nice bounce in some branch production. In a few weeks she should be very bushy like a flowering clone.

Two more plants in flower last night.

The Cap Junky is ready to go. I was going to let it veg a little longer but it's a clone and should blow up pretty good in the next few weeks.
It's looking kinda shaggy in there compared to most of my early flower set scenarios. No floaters till the reach day ten of flower.

Stripped a lot of leaf from these two but they will bounce back stronger and kick out some nice branching for the floater.

These are both regular clones. You can see the GreenCrack MangoHp flowering clones behind them. They almost match the mass of the big monster clones. Early training helps that along with regular clones.

Trainwreck...from Premium Seed Market

Snagged a cut from each. Gonna root these as they show sex. I'll pull the males n keep the female clone if I get one. Maybe let a female go in the cup another week of 12/12. Then throw it in veg cycle. Cheap easy way to get a flowering clone rooted. They are two days in 12/12 chilling down on the floor in the big flower tent. Man I hope at least one is a girl.

Thank you very much for your extraordinary and inspiring diary!
I soaked everything immediately.
Love your floating net technique, monstercropping and overall your style!

In a good week, I planned to take my first flowering clone at day 21 and overall first clone. So perfect timing for me to reach into your thread. Once I heard of flowering clones I knew that was my route, after seeing your diary, gettin more confident that the mothers won't herm or getting stunted when taking clones during flower.
But I gotta say in my current run i have to defoliate A LOT beside the cuts..maybe a bit much but I'll find out.

I don't like to buy and grow non flowered clones from others again (growing some currently and for the first and last time.

A great way to prevent good phenos and save seeds.
My goal is to flower one after another by taking clones at flower d21, letting em reveg.
some training and grow for a couple of wks, until the others are finished flowering and then switching pots. One veg/drying, one flower tent ready.
Around 5 pulls per year would be awesome.
Hope you're still active, would be a loss if not!

Thank you for sharing your experiences and knowledge with us!

Hey yall, been gone for a minute..lol Thought id jump back in with some of what ive been doing and what im doing now.

A lil rearranging....

Fed and watered these 3 Jealousy girls yesterday in the 2x4 tent.

Im facing a out of state move in May so with time constraints n all that im trying to coax as much out of these ladies as I can.

I pulled the screen up and am allowing them all to shift around a little for a few days. When they reach 14day 12/12 ill lower the screen, spread them out pulling them under the wire and then just let them go from there.

These dont seem to stretch very much for a sativa leaner so im not going to train them down for more than 2wks.

Took this time to thin out more leaf. There are many budsites opening up.

Also shifted the plants around moving the 5gal down on the end. Seems to work better there.

Last cleanup and adjustment for these two Sugar Cane S1 from SoCal Seed Vault. 3wks and 1 day onto the 12/12 cycle. Time to pluck n tuck for the last time up top. Ill clean more underneath as it gets a little space to work

So I went ahead and pulled the floater screen. Cleaned up a lot of leaf. Im trying to develop the lower branching to come up and find a spot in the screen. Some will not make it. So, if they cant contribute to the canopy then they get culled...making excellent clones.

Once I removed some leaf i placed the floaters back on top. Securing them down slightly with a spike for the moment to put some pressure downward. The plant will push it up in a few days.
