Was that an Afghan with turban poisoning? Ok, in all seriousness those gnats can be a real pain. Do you have any pictures of what you used? Thanks

fungus gnats in week 2?......well they either came from another room or you have bad soil with gnat larva in it. the best thing to do is break the gnat cycle, cover the soil on top with anything to keep them from exiting the soil, breading , laying more eggs, in the top 1-2 inches.

We have applied about a 1/4 inch of builders sand on top of the soil. We will see how this works.

What worked for you?
What worked for me was the use of the yellow sticky traps ( https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01I9KUKLQ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o07_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 ) and a tea made with mosquito bits ( https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0001LE1VC/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o07_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 ). Four tablespoons per gallon in the toe of a stocking, soaked for an hour or more (ph,ed) and soaking the entire surface. See this video at the 8;30 mark.
What worked for others?
