Damn, nice. I'm the same way with the herps. Designed and built award-winning terrariums and vivariums. I've bred tree frogs, snakes, and many aquarium fish. That was another lifetime ago and the only fish I keep today are Gambusia affinnis, the misquito eaterView attachment 2159625these days the only herps are wild. We do have a few here...

But my all time favorites are the dancing Mantis

I believe it's a defence mechanism as if it's a leaf in the breeze. Love watching these insects.

We've also got bunnies and of course hawks, rats and mice and many cool and dangerous insects like Tarantula hawks. I'm outta room for pics here, if it's still 10? so...

All that just to say "Good Morning" and now it's almost noon here

Exactly how I felt after reading your post, obviously

There's always been something special about nature with me. My mom would relate the story of how I'd eat pill bugs as a baby playing in the backyard I don't remember ever being peckish for roasted sow bugs.
Here's a few more of my wildlife friends on this beautiful Sunday

I love watching and hearing our Red Tailed Hawks, who love all the bunnies.

We got Black Widdows

and Brown

Browns were imported several decades ago and are slowly taking over which isn't a bad thing as their venom isn't as strong.

❤ Praying Mantis.

This one paid me a visit on the patio one night. I walked her up to the greenhouse.

I've been growing Milk Weed

I Love Monarchs.

And I leave you this morning with one of my all time favorite garden videos

These caterpillars can strip a young tomato plant overnight and this one had done a to lot of damage so that'll learn it

Birds? One day I'm in my small greenhouse and there's a hummingbird stuck, can't figure out how to get out. The door was wide open but it kept flying into the top. So I gently reached up and it fainted in my hand. Trip. We've got several feeders.

This is my across the street neighbor's house. Every spring after the rains there's a spot on their property that is close to an aquifer (4 acres and can't build because of it. I keep telling them to dirll a well) and these show up for a few months.

Oh look at the time...

Actually I feed these sparrows and the bluebelly lizards meal worms by hand. There may even be videos somewhere on this site.

I like this..it's all about having patience and keeping God first. I'm not gonna debate what is God or anything. Nor am I forcing any belief on anyone. I just think it's a good message. To have patience and be good.

But then while watching this song kept going through my mind....

And if you like fish and grits and all the pimp shit everybody let me hear ya say oh yea er! sorry ok more pics later. Have a happy Monday everybody!

Argh
Transplanted M4(bb) didn't do a good job. I'm not happy with myself. I'm hoping it can recover

M2 accidentally got bent by me...I had to add more soil and bury a bit more of it's stem so it wouldn't bend anymore. Ugh. It's not been a good time this moment.

But I gotta write it down all the bad too. hopefully everything will be good now and this is my run.

Thank you.

Ok
we are in the clear for M2. Will prob have to bury the stem more when I transplant

M4(bb) is looking better actually. I think it might be a successful surgery after all.

Special sauce is turning green and getting its Lil leaves in.

More pics of babies later

Just a note:

Lowered the temp and humidity in the tent as I was trying for a happy medium to keep it tropical enough for the pineapple...
but I'm over that...
I'm trying to keep the gelato happy now.
Happy growing everyone!

These plants take a beating and I still manage to harvest.....if the other coty is good, I'm thinking it'll be alright.....as professional as I am, ha...ha...., I've done some extensive damage to plants and they've walked away......I've also babied plants that went to the other side.

I'm not gonna lie...I'm horribly harsh with babies.
I figure if it's not hardy enough to live through my abuse I don't want to breed or smoke it.

Some notes:

M2 is defo a fast growing pheno.
I'm hoping it's a male cuz I really want this to be a daddy.
My partner said it will be and somehow he has been right about all my plants sexes except the hermi he didn't predict.
Yes I could use sprays but I'm into gambling.
no risks no rewards or something.

I think that was the only note i needed to add.

Germ kit:
Temp: 71.4°F
Hum: 72%

Keeping steady with a fan on one end and the vent on top open
