About a million years ago, around 82, I grew an Indica plant that had a very distinct flavor of grape bubble gum. This was long before all of the different strains were available and I've never found another with the same taste...like Grape Crush. Does anyone have any idea what this old timer might have been? It was a killer!

Urkle can smell like that. I find many purple plants can carry that sort of smell and taste. Skittles to grape soda would definitely be a taste and smell I've found among any of the older purple strains. Urkle, mendo purple, etc. Could really have been anything though imo!

I have a GDP and it really doesn't look or smell like the previous gem from the 80s. The taste was truly like grape soda and had more of an Indica appearance. It might have been a phenotype from some ancient seeds I started with back around then, but it was the only one that tasted like it. It didn't really have a purple coloring, but It had a slightly grapey unburnt smell and when smoked, it was like taking a slug of Grape Fanta. I've grown countless others from the same bunch of beans and descendants, but never found it again and it was long before there were all of the different names and strains. It's my search for the Holy Grail!

I have it, and it’s more like Big League Chew if you remember that.
