I've been growing outdoors for the Iast 40 years . I was hoping to get some tips if lollypopping my plants is beneficial for more potent buds.

I don't know about making them more potent but i like doing it for airflow and focuses the energy to the upper colas/buds. I'm a lady grower outdoors as long as you have. These are a few pics from past grows.

Don't think so. Almost entirely dependent on genetics. But .. 40 years? Wow. Surprised you haven't tried this yourself in between all them years.

I am a believer that achieving the max potency of any particular strain boils down to harvesting at the correct time and curing slowly with correct temperature and humidity. Harvest too early and trichomes have not fully matured. Harvest too late and trichomes have degraded. Cure too fast and risk loss of trichomes. Cure too slow and risk mold.

Outdoors we tend to let them grow all hairy legged and stuff. Things like space, canopy and airflow aren't generally on the top of our mind. In place of that, we're usually thinking about bugs.

Don't blame ya, nature tends to take care of all that in its own.
