All rite, I started the build today. This build is designed to move in the distant future.
14x20 floor plan walls will be 10 feet tall with a low slope roof 2x6s.
Broke ground today I will post as progress continues. This is as far as I got today.

Got the last 3 beams and all the 2x6 stringers for the 5/8 plywood floor to be installed but first the sub floor must be insulated. I’m going to lay fiberglass reinforced scrim at the bottom of the 2x6 then string 16 gauge wire just above the scrim then install batted insulation above that. Will have rite around 3 inches gap between the bottom of the floor and the top of the insulation.

1/2 way there with insulation and plywood.
Tomorrow I’ll finish the floor and fully adhere 60 mill. TPO membrane to the substrate.

What Is a TPO Roof? TPO stands for thermoplastic polyolefin, a single-ply roofing membrane that covers the surface of the roof. The name is a bit misleading, because rather than being a plastic, TPO is actually one of a few different types of rubber, usually a blend of polypropylene and ethylene-propylene rubber.

Walls up, 2 doors will be installed one in the back corner so I can access from the shop. The other will be used for maintenance and used as exit only.

It’s a shell still got a ways to go. Roof is next. I will be installing 3 inch polyiso rigid board mechanically fastened to the top of the plywood. Then mechanically fasten TPO on top of the ISO. I was wanting to leave the rafters exposed to fasten unistrut for hanging lights and such from the ceiling.

is that breathable, just asking if it cant breath ,mold bro,i took chicken wire and stapled it all the way on bottom, layed my insulation in ,then put 13/16 treated down, chicken wire keeps rats out, living in country has all kind of critters looking for a winter hide away, and the whole reason i mentioned it was on the loafed barn style cabin i built,in the roof,2x6 put house wrap on inside and layed insulation on it then decking board, from the ac inside i got mold in one spot, fixed and replaced bad shit, once i took the house wrap from inside out no more issues, problem was no air in between decking and inside

It is perforated scrim paper. I follow you on that. I’m always calling out insulating contractors installing with unperforated scrim on the commercial buildings at work.
