Looking for some sort of grow hub outlet system to control a heater, humidifier and in line fan. Would like to do it on a shoe string budget if I could. The one item i ultimately decided on is a pre shipment item with vivosun and isnt expected to ship til mid march. Im having crazy tent fluctuation with my humidity(partly because i need a new humidifier) but am afraid of not only reaching extreme lows but extreme highs right now.

Anyone got leads or ideas?

If its in store thats a huge plus. Currently have two popped and in dirt...if it has a smart phone app even better so I can monitor from work during the day.

The humidity thing is a range.
Ie optimal conditions
In reality you can get away with out controlling it as long as you’re not in flower & it goes over 65 & you have sufficient airflow

Lows won’t do damage you just won’t have optimal conditions.

Mine tents humidity is controlled by the weather it bounces around as long as it doesn’t go over 65-69% I don’t concern myself with what it’s sitting at & my grows come out fine.

I know a few here in the same boat

I would agree optimal conditions would make difference however from what I’ve seen over the years it’s not significant enough to cause problems with either growth.

Mold takes hold above 70% as long as your below that & have good airflow it’s not a major issue.

So if your on a shoe string budget you could live without controlling it as said as long as it doesn’t go over 70%

Good luck and enjoy the adventure

Thank you for the input. Being new at this is didnt have really any knowledge on the aspect. I ended up buying from vivosun that a22 grow hub. Ive looked at it before but for the fact I can see the parameters in real time on an app. The plug control was an added bonus.

What would happen with humidity levels being too low? I have my in line on the lowest possible setting and its causing this kind of fluctuation. Its a 4 inch which is appropriate for my 3x3x60in tent.

The growth wouldn’t be optimal that’s about it.
Still grows.

If growing inside use your light as your heater (intensity and distance) and your indoor climate controlled house for cooling.

For humity control use

Digital Humidity Controller IHC-200 Series

INKBIRD IHC-200 series is an easy-to-use, safe and reliable digital humidity controller. The humidification and dehumidification equipment is controlled through dual relays and has an alarm function. This controller also supports humidity calibration and time-delay protection.

As for your exhaust fan start low at seedling stage and increase as you move through the grow, this will also help with cooling.
