I work for a large mixed light cannabis facility. We are experiencing lower yields due to seasonal shift. We are also getting larger percentages of larf and small buds which are not ideal.

very quick rundown of the grow:
Coco coir 2gal
Automated fertigation (5.6-6.1ph / 2.8-3.3 EC)
HPS lights
Single top/aiming for 2 toppings

ok I know that’s not a ton of information, but that’s because I’m mainly looking for plant training techniques to be run on a large scale to improve quality and yield.

I personally would like to run a “mainlining” method and keep each plant between 4 and 8 mains. Problem is we are trying to run 6-8week cycles a year, and this method would add about 21 days to the veg each cycle.

is it worth it in terms of quality and yield to sacrifice a 6th cycle in favor of 5 longer more productive cycles?

open to all ideas for being able to successfully scale a training technique.
