Heyhey,

I am planning to have my next indoor grow on my boat. Its a cabincruiser where i have a extra free room of about 2x2x5 meter with about 1,8m height. I am planning to make it into a full growroom.
I am wondering what kinda problems might accure with growing on a boat? The only possible problem i could think off is the floor not being stable and constantly going up and down a little bit. Would that have any kinda effect on the plants?
Anybody have some experience with that?

Regards

Can't be any worse than my outdoor shed. As long as you can keep temp and humidity under control you should be golden.

Well water may be a huge issue if your on salt water. Can you even power a light off solar to even flower the plant?

it's the most creative grow space ive ever heard of! i think everything's gonna be ok since u have net electricity and tap water. Keep it up, mate 👍

I have acces to net electricity and tap water :) my houseboat will just be at the dock
I saw one or two house boats in Amsterdam that did it on the canals. Shouldn’t be any more of a problem than anywhere else.

Your hight might be an issue so look into topping, fimming, and SCROG.

You’ll be pleasantly surprised. 👍

How many amps is the shore power circuit coming to the boat? Do you live on this boat? If so powering your creature comforts and then the added load of a grow light might be a bit much and could cause breaker tripping. Hope it works for you, good luck.

Ahh makes much more sense, should be no different than growing in a house or tent.
For some reason I can't tag you in posts grim...your a coco grower right? U should change your privacy settings so we can see your plants and tag you in posts.
