I've had a few fasciated stems over the years, and I usually just cut them off and move on. I've also seen some crested buds during flower—they were normal buds, just flat. Honestly, they might have been even better than regular buds, contrary to some online reports.
Has anyone experienced poor quality with fasciated buds?
Has anyone cut off a fasciated branch and tried cloning it?
Has anyone had success taking clones from a fasciated branch and ended up with fasciated clones?

anyway im gonna exhaust way too much energy into and veg this out for the next 100 day(4/20) then plant her in the ground.

i think i will cut the entire plant down except the one branch that i orientated to be in an ideal position if it becomes the main leader.

Never had one! But they are wild! Outdoors, I would grow it out, just for the novelty!

Never encountered that one yet but I’d run with it.

That one looks like a prime candidate for one of Mikedin’s hundred gallon grow boxes outdoors. That little gal would look like a weeping willow in a month.

Week 1 (Vegetative Stage)

  • Day 1: Apply seaweed extract as a foliar spray.
  • Day 4: Apply willow extract as a soil drench.
  • Day 7: Apply aloe vera as a foliar spray.

Week 2

  • Day 1: Apply seaweed extract as a foliar spray.
  • Day 5: Apply coconut water as a soil drench (diluted 1:10 with water).
  • Day 7: Apply aloe vera as a soil drench.

Repeat Pattern

  • Alternate weeks of willow extract and coconut water to optimize resource use.
  • Continue applying seaweed extract weekly.
  • Use aloe vera biweekly as both a foliar spray and a soil drench, alternating.

On top of my regular feeding and amended soil I hasve a schedule specifically to support the unique demands of my fasciated cannabis arm. By incorporating aloe vera, seaweed extract, coconut water, and willow extract, I’m targeting the fasciation with a steady dose of natural growth hormones like cytokinins to encourage healthy development as the plant pushes its structural limits.

Cytokinins, particularly from seaweed and coconut water, play a key role in promoting cell division and nutrient transport. My hope is that consistent exposure to these hormones will stimulate robust, balanced growth and strengthen the arm as it develops. Meanwhile, aloe vera and willow extract provide auxins and salicylic acid to reduce stress and enhance overall vigor, ensuring the plant can sustain its accelerated growth moving forward.

This schedule is tailored to support not just the plant as a whole, but specifically the fasciated arm, helping it grow into the largest of its kind ever documented.
