Bought a home! It’s nice, more inside space than outside but hey, that’s what we needed for the kids. Room to move and to be in control of our home.

Trying to get a feel on the weed growing out there? Online I see some stuff, but I’m really looking for how strict they are. I don’t think a 10 by 10 greenhouse is big enough

Congratulations! Welcome to the flatlands! That’s too general question! If you’re in the county need to know which county. If you’re in the city limits, need to know what city! But it’s Gonna be hot! L O L!

Thanks! Just wanted to be closer to you

It’s the same distance to work. There’s a Lathrop tesla foundry but it’s been slow so I won’t transfer there yet at least. I don’t mind the heat a bit, we know it grows the best plants lol

Address says manteca, I see articles from 2018 banning it, then others from more recent saying it’s okay?

Yeah, it doesn’t take long to bone up on the local laws! Man, That’s a California commute! I think you said Fremont! Great that you got your own place! Right on!

You don’t see very many Central valley growers anymore! There used to be some down around Visalia and Bakersfield! Would grow 10 foot trees in the backyard of their tract home! Or 10 big plants in the backyard of their tract home! So it must be fairly legal in places! Plenty of people!

Yeah I know they’re out there. I just don’t know if they see laws as laws or as guidelines

I’ve never lived in suburbia we will see how this goes

Yeah, just under an hour. Also only 15 minutes from a free shuttle so I got some options.

We were looking at clovis but Inwould have to drive 1.5 hours, catch a 2 hour bus, sleep at the factory between shifts

Dude congrats!!! Looking forward to the madness to come!

You’re closer to me now I think! I remember driving down to the “Manteca water slide park” in 5th or 6th grade.

The key is to never give anyone any reason to believe you’re doing anything other than what they can see : )

Back in the driveway and unload later. Have any packages concealed from shipping (dont have your AC infinity charcoal filter delivered in the original box and let it sit on your porch for three days). Outdoor… you gotta a dog? : )

I do enough gardening in my front yard so no one suspect anything. Especially my neighbors lol. They all think im a gun toting red neck because I fly the flag and have a big diesel truck! and thats the general demographic up where im at. But im also in an EXTREMELY friendly county “in my opinion” so everyone’s kind of used to it!

The way I read the regs, Growing outdoors inside Manteca city limits can’t be done, it must be indoors. In SJ county you can grow inside a house or a “auxiliary building”, but not a greenhouse, it must have non-opaque walls/ceiling, be built to code, and be 100 sq ft or less.

I read that as you can grow in your greenhouse, as long as it’s locked and not visible from the street! Whatever good that is in Manteca!

Yeah, I guess 50 ft.² applies to greenhouses! Back to the drawing board!
