I've been told that organic liquid nutrients don't have an EC value and that you don't need to measure it because of the fermentation process that needs to happen first. However, my Liquid BAC nutrients show an EC of 1.1 when I follow their recommended grow schedule for week 2 of bloom.
Now, my plants are showing slight signs of nutrient burn, so I decided to measure the pH and EC of the runoff. The results came back with a pH of 6.4-6.7 and an EC of 1.4-1.7. For reference, the nutrient solution I feed has a pH of 6.2, and the EC is, as mentioned, 1.1.The slight increase in pH seems totally normal since I’m growing in soil. However, the higher EC in the runoff compared to what I’m feeding has me wondering: should I flush once every two weeks to prevent a buildup of salts/acids?
I’m a bit confused because BAC markets this as a fully organic nutrient line, so in my mind, it falls under organic growing. But I’m starting to think that maybe a light flush with clean water would be a good idea—just to reset things and then continue with the grow schedule. I’m also worried about over-flushing and washing away the good stuff in the soil that’s working fine. When I look at the plants, they actually seem pretty happy overall. So… am I overthinking this? Would love to hear what you guys think!
The growing medium Plagron promix whit 30% plagron coco premium and 20% perliet.
If there are any Bac growers out here and you wanna share your feeding chart ... :)

Just do a cycle or two of water only. Don’t chase runoff ph if you’re growing in soil. Most commercial soils are buffered. And unless the ph is really out of whack, ph isn’t usually an issue in organic grows.

The ec reading is probably just the water as you can’t read ec in organics

I had a look at the site there not much information. Few reviews that seem false with replies to make them look real so yeah wasn’t impressed

Not to say the product isn’t good it’s obviously doing the job for you.

That aside they look well fed just as said above
Don’t really want to be flushing organics

Thank you so much for your response! I’ll be sure to keep the information in mind. :) I used to grow with Canna Coco on coco coir, so growing in soil is a bit of a new experience for me.
