I have been doing some research on what soil is good for auto flowers because I am on my 3rd auto grow and all tree of them shows the same nutrient deficiency in all 3 grows. My personal opinion is that autos and their short VEG to FLOWER stage has a lot to do with it. "The soil is to hot" is what I hear A LOT" so I dont know any thing about , don't have the time and knowledge, not even know were to start....So I came across this soil that is Smoking Tomatoes Soil: here is a link to their web site........SOILThey are based in Michigan so thats a 4-6 hour drive, now for me to drive 6 hrs for some soil sounds crazy, I know..if only they would delivery..I would love from someone that has used this kind of soil before and how was it??? There's moor I know this is the last ?? I found this soil just like the one that was mentioned earlier and I can get this delivered to my local Hardware Store, but it likes $50 a bag of 18 LBS, now the other soil is $15 a bag at, well it does not say?? BUT its $15 a bag..Let me get back to the soil its called SOHUM Living soil, just adding water only is Like PARADISE to me, I personally hate mixing chemicals and adding dry fertilizer every time I feed them Its a mess after feeding I have to clean the reservoir and every thing else..you know what I am talking about.. so by just adding water is a dream come true to me....same as this soil want to hear other thoughts on this .

It's pretty hot to be honest. I'd cut it down with black gold or something, or use it like a super soil. I burnt plants bad, caused some herms, I dumped it on my tomatoes and got huge delicious cherry tomatoes

So you’re saying it’s to hot for them, but I have seen and heard of guys growing in super soil. It’s not a final decision just weighing in on options. I just don’t like all the mixing nutrients and cleaning afterwards it’s getting to the point like there’s got to be something out there better well not better but something easier. But hay this is what the internet is for research, research and more researching

I use buildasoil for my living soil. They deliver and prices are good IMO. Scooped up their straw and cover crops to help the soil so its thing.

First time trying to grow in organic soil. So far so good! Friends say they only had to water with this setup. I dislike mixing and measuring so I gave it a try.

I’m not entirely convinced so I set up 3 autos to determine what combo works best for my indoor setup.

for what it’s worth, I started 2 seeds in rooter pods and one directly in soil. Soil planted is a week younger and about same size to the other two.

Vermont Compost Company is a great soil company. I've used seedling starter and the living compost. Very high microbial growth. Only ever bought 2 yard totes not sure about bags.

Yeah I did some research on that type of soil but the only thing is it’s better to have a large container and do it that way, but if there is a way to have it in pots or fabric I’ll try it out. But I have time to think and do more research I am currently in 6 wks in flower and they are taking their time.

Sorry, I wasn't sure about their policy. Maybe you know five or six people and just order a tote. Cheaper that way anyway. I don't know, everything I get comes in pallet form.

No worries, but thank you for the advice. Just the cost of shipping is not worth it.

Have you measured your soil temperature if your concern is heat? Reread your post and it sounds kind you want to move your currently flowering plants because they’re slow to do what you sell? If that’s the case, you may want to reconsider or at least experiment with 1 before moving them all.

What I mean by soil is hot... I meant by hot with nutrients. Just trying something new with autos with soil that doesn’t have a lot of nutrients in it because autos are finicky about higher nutrients in the soil when in veg

You do know that you are feeding the soil and microbes in a living soil and not the plants right? The bacteria, fungi, nematodes and things do that tge plant sends out exudates from roots to the microbes to go get the food they want you just need to make sure its there for that don't mean to interfere with your conversation but i thought maybe some more research about what i just said will help you remember the weather you like it or not plants are in control in living soil lol Have a GREAT one Ron from Michigan ✌

I have. It’s a small cost for a lot of goodness. I found it to be very effective at rescuing weak trees and other plants in my garden as well.
