Anyone use H&G -- just starting -- how many days/weeks of plain water flush before harvest?

I don't think you should base your flush off of the brand of nutrients. IMO if your using coco with fully synthetic nutrients you should give a 10-14 day flush or drop your nutrients from 100% to 50%, then 25% over the course of 10 days, then the final 5 days you flush.

You don't have to follow those exact days, but IMO its a decent base line to consider. The amount of time you spend flushing should be based on the medium, the amount of nutrients used and how much synthetics you used.

FWIW, I've never seen anyone base there flush time on the nutrient company they used.

I have always went with a 2 week water flush using GH FloraNova line. I just wasn't sure if I should stick to that with H&G.

Looking at H&G feed charts for a 10 week flower cycle, they show starting Shooting powder in the last 4 weeks of flower. If I do a two week flush, would I start Shooting powder on the 3rd or 4th week, seems way early to me???

i never used H&G products, but I would use it for weeks 7 + 8 then flush weeks 9 + 10.

No, you do not use Top Shooter or Shooting Poweder BEFORE the feeding chart calls for it. I agree with lex on the 7+8 & flush 9+10 if you are flushing every 2 weeks.

I have beneficials in my rezy so I do not use a flush at all except week 10. I straight feed every week, then flush em out week 10, nothing but drip clean & microbials in my rezy.

No lockouts, deficiencies, or nute burns. Only thing I could say is a little salt build up on the outside of the fabric pot but idk if flushing would even remove that or prevent it, not that I care or anything.

H&G coco's as well.
