Just wanted to pop on for a moment and
1 - let folks know that yes, I am still alive,
On the moon with Mrs Spaulding.
2 - to say thank you all for the well wishes,
It means a lot with the crazy shit that’s been going on under the big top.
3 - though there was a few false starts planned to come back sooner, my wife’s condition had other plans for that.
So I had to turn my energy to her and our situation up here.
That all being said, the wife is finally on the upswing after her surgery, and I am starting to have a bit more time.
For those that did not know, she had open heart surgery to repair a few, let’s say overlooked situations. It caught up with her in a big way a couple/few months ago, when she was out in the yard and fell out with an aneurysm. I almost lost her, she was In the hospital for weeks straight, to then get cracked open like a peanut at the circus.
So then everything landed on a ridiculous clown to maintain life and all of its eccentricities. No temp disability for her as she is a contractor. So this asshat had to go on the grind to keep things afloat.
I’m on disability myself, and then there are the odd and end side hustles that I had to grind out to try to make ends meet.
So unfortunately I was not able to take the time to run my grow correctly.
Now I have had plants going, but everything was a mess. And def not the type of thing that I would ever take pics of. Share with all of you wonderful folk. And be proud.
While at the same time helping the rad folks who needed it possibly.
My point is is that as much as I was wanting to jump on and say hi to folks, my head just wasn’t in the game at all
With everything going on, it was just one of those things that can take up a lot of time and it was something that I really did not have considering that I was doing everything under the sun to try and maintain everything here on the Homestead while taking care of my wife . it was a lot. It still is a lot at the moment. That’s why I’m not 100% back yet but I still wanted to take a minute to come on and say hi to folks let everybody know that the woods are in the rearview and that sunlight and open pastures are coming up quick.

She has enough on her plate atm.
And I was also on the hustle, which I haven’t done in years……I didn’t miss that at all.
