My dear friend Joe left us this morning at 12.15 am.
Joe was battling lung cancer for over a year.
He died peacefully at home with his wife Pam by his side...
He went quick. last visit he look good and was cheerful over his first successful medical grow which I helped him with.
Such a big hearted man. Would meet him on hikes in the mountains with his dog Ben, just another person, he so much enjoyed his daily hikes...
What joy he brought to so many and I am so glad to have brought him joy by being his true friend as he told me I am a true fiend..
Wow how bitter sweet....
Joe liked me because I never put him on the pedestal, never asked for tickets or back stage, backstage was a pain for Joe all the fanfare, he liked the solitude of the Mad dog Ranch...Hearing stories about your visits with Joe always made me smile. Never met him but felt he knew what we were about over here through that sharing/caring thing you carried out so well over the years that you knew him. Many thanks and much respect for the enlightenment. I think many times we set such folks on pedestals and forget that underneath it all they are just like we are.
RIP Joe
