Tom is celebrating his 78th birthday today. Tommy started his career in Canada as a musician and his band Bobby Taylor and The Vancouvers were originally signed in 1965 to one of the Motown labels, Gordy Records.

Then he met Cheech Marin. Some have called them the Marx Bros. of the Rock and Ro...ll generation. Tommy has also had to fight some battles including the US government and cancer.

Is there one special thing that Tommy has done that comes to your mind when you first hear his name?

When the feds went after his family during op pipedreams (i think) he quickly hopped right in front of that train and happily went down to keep them safe. That is a pretty standup (lol) action and makes me think he is a standup guy (lol again). Not to mention C&C are hilarious, other than the corsican bros movie, that didn't pan out so well.

Hahahahaha he's hilarious he made a music video wit riff raff recently and he was in jail wit the real wolf on Wallstreet. That's pretty fuckin awesome.

First time I went to amsterdam I spent a solid day trying to find that cafe with the weed salad from Still Smokin, just walking around visiting coffeeshops and talking to the bud/bartenders trying to see if they knew. I failed, but sure did wind up pretty high from smoking joints at every shop I stopped in at.
