Ok, so I am almost at the end of my first grow, and am not quite sure as what to do next with this Blue Dream that is 6 weeks and 2 days into flowering.
She has been grown in soil and been fed a) Biobizz Bloom
b) NOTG Liquid Bone Meal
c)Green Leaf Sweet Candy
d)Liquid Seaweed
She has been under a 600w HPS, and ya after only 6 weeks, I am seeing amber hairs in the tricomes.
Now from what I have read a Blue Dream can take as long as 10 weeks before harvest, I haven't started flushing, but plan on starting tomorrow as it's time to feed her.
Like I mentioned though, I am seeing amber hairs on the buds in the middle of the plant, yet the larger ones at the top of the plant, have just a few, and not very noticeable unless your right up close.
So my question is....Does she need a little more time to develop and wait for the tricomes to go a bit more amber, or should I be harvesting now, as most of the trimcomes are definitely milky white:

Needs like 3-4 more weeks by the looks of it. And I think you're confusing hairs with trichomes. The hairs are not trichomes, the hairs should be pretty much all amber/brown and shrivelled up at harvest. The trichomes are the "crystal" that you can only really inspect with 30-40x magnification.

Patience is necessary, as @Dirtbag mentioned you’ve got close to a month to go.

Gotta remember, the buds might look a decent size now but theyll shrink a lot when they dry. Especially being under ripe. Wet bud when its ripe looks enormous, and then shrinks down to the size we are used to seeing.

Yup. 75% bigger due to water content.
