Week 9 Red poison auto...

Is it time for harvest?

(New grower here) I know this plant was a lesson learned on a hand full of things...

Yeah it is still hard to tell, need to see trichomes thru a jewelers loupe.

First guess is it looks like it still has some time.

Thank you this is all a learning process for sure.... It looks like a little over half of the trichomes colors are “milky”, but the other half still glassy. Should I have already started flushing?

Don’t know what the length of bloom is required for that strain, but normally you want all milky, a few amber, clear are still maturing...Might be a few weeks yet. As far as flushing, I’d just stay with the normal waterings, just leave out the feeding...

I would let it go for another week or two. You really seem to get the flavor and heft at the very end of flowering. If it has slowed down considerably or begun to foxtail, I would take it then. They appear to be close, but over the years I have found it better to let them finish totally... done like a Salmon after spawning done. This helps to bring out the colors, helps to minimize the chlorophyll (which was hiding all of those colors you now see, like tree leaves in autumn), and improves the taste, IMO.
You did a nice job!
