I bought the jeweler loupe off Amazon. It’s hard to see trichomes.
Tried using my phone for extra zoom.
I’m thinking 1-2 weeks more til 20 % amber, and more of the stigmas turn orange. I’m not seeing any amber now. And it looks kinda milky all thru out the plant. Any opinions?
I tried to get the best pictures I could

How many weeks have these been in flower for? Imo they need some time yet. Also, dont judge by the sugar leaves. You want to look at the bract itself, (where the pistils come out of) sugar leaf trichomes always mature before the bracts trichomes do.

They are a fast autoflower. Just hit 9 weeks since planted. Been flowering for4-5 weeks.

Still seeing white pistils, and the orange ones will curl in more, I'd say another week or so at least.

Yeah, at least a couple more weeks. You're looking at the wrong part of the plant's trichomes. You want to look at the ones on the actual buds not on leaves. The leaf tri's always turn faster so you may be seeing cloudy there, but the buds are most likely still clear.

If only flowering 4 or 5 weeks you still have 3-5 weeks, maybe longer

Any auto ive ran have been about 100 days from seed, thats just an average. Some took 90, some took 110, some took 85, its all up to the plant, breeder timelines are for perfect conditions and are almost never accurate, imho.

Let me rephrase my question…

How do these trichomes look, do they look milky or clear????

I know to check the bud itself, not sugar leaves. I know to check top, mid, and bottom bud sites.

Picture was for reference….

Youll be okay, plants dont ripen overnight they take days to weeks and then you have a harvest window of like a week or better. You wont have over ripe buds.

99% of growers I see harvest way too early...use that jewelers loupe to look at some stones or something. Wait until majority of the pistils recede, that's when I've found the buds really tighten up and get fatter. Breeders keep saying 8-9 weeks flower, I say 10-12 easy, sometimes more.

Like this is the closest I’m getting and still can’t tell if they are milky or clear. Maybe when they turn milky it will be more apparent… the whole reason I’m asking because I want to flush the 2- or at least 1 week before I harvest. And I’m figuring they are close to being ready to flush

Ope. Sorry just looked at your profile. And realized your not a man. Your a woman, but thank you none the less. I was kinda stressing, it’s my first time growing but just been trying to hit everything on the head. And from what I understand the harvest is a pretty critical process to do right. Thanks again

Dont flush, either decrease feeds or just water with plain water but do not flush. Its pointless. Its 100% broscience that flushing washes out the "taste of nutrients" or anything for that matter.

Huh that’s interesting, I got to look into that. Hopefully that’s true because I was thinking of going to lug a bunch of water from the fill station, since I got well water.
