HELLO
I am growing in coco cour and I'm having issues ,I have had lots if help from homesteader but here are some pics of some leaves from my problem plants
I'm using Canna A and B for Nutes
Sensi cal for mag and cal
It's just more then 1 person's input sometimes helps

Please don't pull the leaves off to show us, we need to see where on the plant this issue is occurring. To me, offhand, it looks like you have two things going on, N- and Ca-... no, three, I'm going to include a K utilization issue here.

I have not used the brand of coir or fertilizers you're using, so I can't speak to how to adjust them precisely. What I can do is explain to you how coir behaves so you get an idea of how to better handle it for cultivation.

First, it tends to lock onto Ca and K at a molecular level. This is why it's important to have your coir pre-charged. IIRC, Canna coir is precharged (and pre-rinsed! gotta to that before charging) so I think you should have been good to start.

The other issue has to do with cal-mag supplements. I'm willing to bet that the brand you're using is about 3:1 Ca:Mg. This is too, too low a ratio in my experience. For coir cultivation 4:1 is a bare minimum, I prefer 6:1.

Because Ca is immobile, it must be laid down in plant tissues from the start, and needs to continually be laid down as new growth occurs. That makes managing Ca your most difficult task here. Gypsum can help by topdressing and watering in, but in my opinion you're going to need to add Ca in the form of foliar applications along with root drenches, so my advice is to get a product such as BioLink 6% Ca and add enough of that to the feedings to make your Ca:Mg ratio 7:1 (you're playing catch up here). This may make them too rich to go along with regular feedings, so you'll probably have to alternate, as well as delivering some Ca via foliar application of the same product.

Again, further guessing here, but I'm going to say that overall this plant needs more food, but I'm on the fence as to whether or not it actually needs more K, or if it just needs more N.

Give us more information to go off of here. We want to know lighting, duration, temps day and night, relative humidity, EC of feedings, and pH ranges.

Finally, you may want to go through my thread in my signature line "There's no such thing as a cal-mag deficiency."

Wow lots to take in
My lighting is 1000 watt HPS
4x8 gorilla grow tent
Lighting is on 24-7
Daytime temp is around 78 night time its 68 because im in the notheast up state ny
The N is 4.0 on the sensi mg
And them leaves I was taking anyways nit just to show
I feel like I gave them to much Nutes because when I feed them this got way worse off so I flushed them
Also I feed every other day

Do you flush with just water, or a mild nutrient solution? (Quick tip: #2 is the correct answer)

When you can, show us the whole plant. If you've already got a Ca- going on you're not in a good position to flip soon.

Edit: Try ranging that pH between 5.8-6.2. Usually, in my experience at least, 6.0 tends to be the perfect sweet spot for the majority of strains I've grown in coir.

Ok, never flush with just water in coir. Always use a small amount of nutrients.

Ok, I think I see what's going on there. All different strains, correct?

Here's what I'd like you to do with the plant that's got that halo of yellow on the leaves (which leads me to believe you've got a bit of a Mg- going on as well). Get some Epsom salt, dissolve 1/4tsp into a gallon of water. Add a couple of drops of non-antimicrobial dish soap (or something else to break the water's surface tension here). Foliar the hell outta that girl, especially making sure to hit the undersides of the leaves. If you do this just before lights on, or ASAP after lights on you'll get the best effect.

Now, if she greens up in a few hours, there you have it--Mg-. If not then something else is going on. Process of elimination is the only tool sometimes.

Ok well there all same strain I have other then 2 Exodus Kush in 1 chocolope and there fine ...I did the epsom salt trick but I added it to the water 1 tbls per gallon , it helped a little and this was about 2 weeks ago...so I went out and got

Yes. Really. Shoot for 4:1 as a bare minimum, especially in coir. I've found 6:1 is much, much better. I learned this stuff by separating Ca from Mg and feeding separately, saw much better results doing things that way. Also learned that The White doesn't need so much "cal-mag" as she does Ca.

Seems like every time I feed these girls and hit them with the sensi cal that they yellow up

When you are mixing your nutes you are mixing Calmg first then A then B correct?

They look like they are under watered. Coco likes to hold onto nutes and is PH neutral. If you let the coco dry out it will release said nutes and throw the PH all out of wack. Depending on how big of pots you have those in you should be watering them everyday. Remember Coco needs to be treated like hydroponics not soil. Dont ever let it dry out.

Also are you using Canna's Coco nutes or other Canna nutes? RO or tap water? If Tap what is your starting PPM/EC? Canna nutes are pretty solid by themselves without sups (pretty solid on the wallet also)
