Does milk really get rid of pm if nothing is done about the environment that caused it in the first place?interesting always learning I supposeWPM.
Go to the store and get a gallon of Vit D milk. Not the 2% stuff.
Mix it 50/50 with water and spray the plant, the soil, all of it when the lights first come on. Leave it in the light. Before lights out, spray with clean water.
You might need 2 or more treatments.
Interesting article but it says it reduces pm by 30 percent nothing bout it being a cure can’t hurt though and I’m wondering if it could be used as a preventative measure more so than a magic bullet pretty cool though milk on ya plantsDual role of milk on aphid and powdery mildew control in kale
Powdery mildew (PM) is the most important kale disease and it is more difficult to manage when plants are simultaneously infested with aphids. In this…www.sciencedirect.com
The word 'cure' is against FDA rulez. LOLInteresting article but it says it reduces pm by 30 percent nothing bout it being a cure can’t hurt though and I’m wondering if it could be used as a preventative measure more so than a magic bullet pretty cool though milk on ya plantsmight not need as much calcium
Dude, enough airflow and it might be airborne! LOLI think it’s best to get on top of the environment issues that causes it in the first place extra fans big dog dehumidifier extra vents something like that I find with enough airflow it can’t survive and thrive
That's the same company Tim the Toolman Taylor works for yeah?big dog dehumidifier
Then milk is way cheaper to spray in that big of an area.Think he’s outside (in a greenhouse) so PM is going to be all over the place.
I had been spraying with neem and Aloe vera water as preventative but its been raining for almost a month. I did buy a 20" fan to add to the greenhouse yesterday. Thanks for the advice. I am going to try them out.Hydrogen peroxide, Neem, Bonide cooper, and Serenade are all organic sprays that work. I also like Plant Doctor which is a systematic fungicide and best used before you actually have an outbreak. (Though it’s sold by “Organic Laboratories” it isn’t technically organic as it’s just potassium salts of phosphorus acid.)
Yes I added one yesterday and I am adding another one tomorrow. I will definitely take all that advice.I think it’s best to get on top of the environment issues that causes it in the first place extra fans big dog dehumidifier extra vents something like that I find with enough airflow it can’t survive and thrive
Okay I removed the molded leaves I saw this afternoon and I will check first thing in the morning. The humidity has been around 95% for 2 weeks. Then milk is way cheaper to spray in that big of an area.
Still a big defoilation is called for. Cut out what you can and get some airflow in there. Molds like stagnant air.
