Having real problems with the humidity.

Easiest way to run it is suck in from bottom blow out from top. Heat rises and it Carries humidity better than cold temps do. Since ur battling humidity id run my fan out the top trying to maximize getting all the hot air out. Id put my ac right in front of the doors maybe even get a second one so that they suck all the air from the doors and blow it cold towards my plants.

Also some defoliation my drop ur humidity a few points

thanks m8 long as my temp is ok and humidy i should be good all i use is the vent at the bottom no intake fan just a ac fan inside

It depends what type of setup you are running. If you are able to produce enough of fresh and cold air, you can use top-top method easily and keep temps and humidity right on the spot.

so should it be pulling in more air or taking it out more i’m sure am doing something wrong as i mite have more air coming in than out

You should be pulling more air out, than you are pushing in, so that you create negative pressure. Also in general, you want to circulate all of the air on the whole growing room at least 1 time per minute. Preferably more if possible. There is calculators on the web for this purpose.

You have to turn it on high and set it on a bucket. Get a hose hook it to the drain let it drain to the bucket. 5 gallons instead of 20 pints. Or 5 pints what the container is. Put it to 60.

Put the dehumidifier in thr grow area. Other than that set the ac on high it will get the humidity out as well.

More fans. Put 3 or 4 fans 20in isolating fans.

If he can get that room sealed properly it will 100% solve this problem. I would use any means necessary. Plastic. Duct tape. Tarps. Foam insulation. That stuff that comes in a spray can that expands in gaps and cracks. There's a lot of means to get the job done, but this is most certainly the issue that needs to be solved if he wants to get the RH down.

Again, if all this is not possible. Turn up the A/C. Raise the temperature so you're within your preferred RH/Temperature threshold. Easy peasy.

There are also good products on the market today for prevention of mold and mildew if that is a concern. Some potassium silicate. That AgroMagen GrowSafe biopesticide stuff I've been trying to tell everyone about, works great for treatment and prevention of WPM, mold, etc. as well. Great stuff to have in your toolbox.

i did everything you said..gap filler 3 layer tarps. it's that dam door where the air is leaking and there isn't much i can do about it other than a zipper seal liek you mentioned. I should get a tent and put it in there. it would be really tite fit and would have to open from the small side so i can get in it. have to start saving i guess.

Right, it's a process. You could even experiment with some weather stripping from HD/Lowes or pretty much any hardware store. They're relatively cheap and easy to install. They have all kinds and sizes for doors, windows, etc. Just take some measurements on the gaps and buy accordingly. Get some good double sided tape or maybe hot glue to secure them to the door or frame a little better. I'm sure it will come along eventually, keep up the good, hard work! Your plants look nice, you should be proud!

I just ordered a zipper door. Thanks for the advice, hopefully it will do the job. I think i would have a really hard time with a tent in there.

If you ever need a budget tent look up cool grows. I got a 3x2x5 for like 60? Maybe 45 I can’t remember but it is honestly a solid tent. Could it be better? Of course but as far as practicality, it works the same. I got a lot of budget stuff if you ever need advice. I think the zipper door might be your solution, and add some oscillating fans in there!

i had a fan in there but the ac unit i got really kicks out some air and does a pretty good job of circulating. i just took the fan out two days ago. you think i should put it back in even with that big ac unit?

You should have 4 or 5 fans in there with the AC.

In 1 of my grow rooms I have 1 ac. 14k btu. Fan on high. 8 fans including the dehumidifier moving air. Air movement is a key to success.

i have inline fans for that. you just can't see them in the video. thanks though you are correct.

wow really? it's a tiny space. equvalt to a 4 x 2 tent. well pretty close to it. i couldn't get that many in there. it would be really crowded. you think i need that many in that much space? i have inine fans for the hot and cool air to come in and out as well you just can't see them in the vid

That's just what I have for mine. In early veg I have a little issue with wind damage. Just damaging the plant but it builds strength for flower.. Every setup is different. But how I would set up thr 4x2 is.

AC.
DEHUMIDIFIER.
4 fans.
Keep the inline fans. Move the air. No stagnant air.
