Anyone know how it is going for those guys suing the county for their pot plants. They had a compliance check, which our local pd says they never do. Right. They came here twice or was I dreaming. Hope they win their case

Yeah, interesting article, how they funnel the funding through NEDS to get around certain laws. "We dont do compliance checks" says Hilo PD...yet thier officers do compliance checks while contracted with the feds. Ruggles is my friend's dad. One point that was interesting is they point out there is different funding per island which might explain how hard Maui has been patroled.

When they come again I'm pulling a Nancy Reagan just say no to cops. My Casper #2 is getting mold it is still a week out in a perfect world but if it keeps raining it will be gone in a few days. Then the long wait for the Widows. The flo is still plugging along with no mold she is taking her sweet time. My baby Frost's are taking off glad to have something big this year.

Morning Cuz, i have been reusing the same soil since i've been on the BI, over 2 years. Base mix is 1/3 Premier Peat, 1/3 compost, 1/3 cinder. Pretty much follow Clackamas Cootz recipes. Ammend with neem, kelp, crab, alfalfa, and fish bone meal plus lots of minerals. Buildasoil.org is where i order from. My go to reading sites for soil are logicalgardener.org and living organicsoil.org. I always am fucking up and learning the hard way.
How is the house search going?

How is the house search going?

We've put in a couple offers and keep getting outbid...but we are still looking.

I ordered some cover crop blend from BAS a little while back, I tried it out on some containers and I just spread a bunch at our farm in all the pig ruts. We got a pig trap a while back but havent caught any pigs yet. I think it is keeping them away though, either that or they are staying down in the gulch near the river. I havent seen any more damage which is great and hopefully some grass will grow over the exposed areas in time for rainy season.

I just got on the LOS forum, so much to learn. Gonna have a soil analysis done for the farm, and hopefully the fellas there can help me interpret everything and figure out what i need to provide.

Cootz has been posting again lately in the logical gardener sight. FYI. I'm not sure what happened between Gas and Coot and Microbe man, but somebody isn't getting along. I just read anyway....

this is a c99 i have been keeping around
almost tossed it... theeeeeeees close to binning her
because it likes to grow differently than I do

but she smokes great

this plant wants to be done sog style flowered untopped at 12" tall in 2g pots maybe 18-21 on a 3x6 area... trying to get it to become a mini tree is a not really efficient for her. either way though shes done in 54 days....

yes - its the only way to fly
it may not be as "fun", but its the most reliable way to bank on what you are growing.
And when what you are growing brings you the bank, its nice to know what to expect.

I do run seeds now and again - for purpose and fun. I have some old plan b stock that I am hoping will reveal a nice male. I was gonna wait until august to drop them and start searching but I may just start them friday the 13th.
and i have a few hundred Daywrecker/Chemdog 91 from subrob that I am going to be going thru to see if there is anything special - probably just gonna sog those around the way. i think friday the 13th will be a good day to do those too now that i think about it.

but i can't/won't "count" on seed play for anything... except for material thats gonna be blasted into goo and wax.

Sounds plenty fun to me. I'd gladly give up popping beans if I had a legit Bubba, OG, and Chem Dawg cut. The clones I've received in the past turned out to be inaccurate and I fed them to my compost pile.
