Keep in mind that this is a very liberal oriented forum. I consider myself independent but the facts are the facts, and when it comes to economics his advisors seem lost and don't seem to be able to balance the check book. However to be fair both sides seem to favor getting involved in Syria. Why us...aren't we broke? Oh, it's ok our children will pick up the tab.

I don't remember voting the United States in as the Worlds Policeman. So far throughout history every empire has been toppled. Why are we any different, especially the way our so called leaders are running things. I get where you're coming from, but perhaps another POV would be that this group is necessary *both* in order to improve things, and once done (like the anti-smoking campaign and how they've turned their ire onto e-cigarettes), to help ensure that issues such as patient wait times don't get out of hand again.Much appreciate your point of view Seamaiden and am well aware that A News Paper Article is up to individual interpretation but the fact that A Canadian Organization has been operating for 8 yrs. or more for the sole purpose of tracking and documenting "Excessive Wait Times" in the Canadian Health Care System (that they are part of, and the country they reside in) is A Slam Dunk from my point of view... Perhaps your time would be better spent looking at that organization posted / referenced previously and their "Validity" as opposed to the article itself if the truth of it all is what you seek? :) Best of luck in that, Truth seems to be an "Elusive" thing to find these days... ;)
That doesn't answer the 'you' with regard to your previous post, it's rather cryptic, or accusatory, however one may choose to interpret it. If your suggestion is that I 'choose' to believe in Obama, or have supported him in any way, you're incorrect. I hear and agree with you sky and yes i did know they all opt out of the programs they FORCE on us,this is a huge part of the problem,shit would never be this way if it affected them like it does us.Look Obama is my president too whether i like it or not and i have to say he sucks at it,does nothing he said he would and gets us deeper and deeper every day,dude cant seem to make a good decision and people say ''give the guy a chance?"How many chances does he need?The guy is about to rain down cruise missiles in syria on thousands of innocent people and children yet he comes right out on TV and says we will not target pres Assad or other members of the ruling party?WHAAAT?target those son of a bitches,they are the ones giving the orders to use chemical weapons not innocent people,Just what we need another war we cant pay for and that really is not our business anyways.Obamacare is a joke just like almost all the rest of his policies so ill choose NOT to just give it a chance.Maybe its just me but i dont see president obama helping anyone in this country but himself.Congress and the Pres have never had the same health care set up as you and I, fish. They have their own docs/game/etc. and always have.
Did you also know that Gov't and quasi-government employees aren't required to pay into Social Security and can divert those $$$ into other retirement type accounts? As a result, all Government employees have opted out of that program as well..including Congress, the Pres, all of your state reps and Senators....and all the folks who work through/in association with "Gov't. Even the folks who work for your local utility company (water/electric/etc) or any quasi-Government are not required to pay in to SS and can divert that 7% to other accounts separate from the gov't. This is nothing new....and certainly not a practice that can be blamed on the current Pres...though...yes...a bunch of folks will certainly and mistakenly try because HE is the cause of ALL our problems. Funny how things was cool til he showed up.. LOL.
