Posted about my 2nd year grow elsewhere. No herms this year, but a difficult harvest and dry due to some torrential MD rain. Pulled it a couple of weeks early and worried about mold… so far, so good. The cure will be optimum in a few more weeks.
So, what does a single grower do with his/her bounty? Lots of ingenious things. Mine is raw consumption of de-carbed bud. Haven’t been more clever as yet than just slathering it in peanut butter.
25 mins at 250 degrees. About right?
Down the hatch buckaroos!

230-250 F seems to be the popular temperature. 25 minutes is about right. The higher the temperature, the more terps will be driven off.

without trying to hijack this thread, can i decarb but not infuse with butter for a couple days?
reason is that i'm home alone for a couple hours and don't want to stink the house up with infusing until i'm alone again

Once decarbed, always decarbed.
I decarb batches and prepare[ however] as needed.

I throw couple teaspoons of cinnamon or lavender (spices ) in a separate bowl . Place it In the oven while I decarb to help the smell . Lavender works well it compliments the smell of the herb disguises it well. And you can decarb in a closed mason jar . Is how I help avoid the smell.

I make a batch of roasted tomatoes and roasted peppers in garlic.
It masks the smell and it's something you can use in everyday cooking.
