I am not fully new to growing i’ve put some nice buds out of my tent before, but wanted to mess around with some plants outside. I have 4 little one’s i’m worried about, and i am hoping someone can tell me what i’m doing wrong

These were planted on 05/19/2024
And sprouted on 05/21/2024

I started them in a tent, and then slowly moved them into a green house hour by hour eachday. My first week had days that were mostly cloudy and there wasn’t a lot of sun. So i don’t think it helped. I was going to keep them in my tent longer, but my lights aren’t big enough reach everything with them in. My idea was also that the sooner they’re out the sooner they’ll get used to it, Well hardening them off. i did some research and mine look way behind for photo periods that are past two weeks from sprout. I hope someone can help this is weirdly giving me a lot of anxiety

As long as you get them back into light and make sure they're not overwatered they should be fine. I grow "DIY" (bunk grow in my closet) so I've messed up tons of seedings. But they all recover. The plant is a weed literally lol.

I think I slowed their growth the first week due to over watering, but I now am only watering 2-3 days if it seems to dry a couple inches down, and then spraying the top of soil every couple hours if I can just to get it moist at least

Damn mine are wayyy behind then, I am bummed because my grow season is so short here and I already ruined the first seeds I bought trying a germination pad.

Don't worry, that's the furtherest along seedling. They're are plenty that aren't that great. Plus I've ruined a bunch before. Thank god I'm just growing bag seed for fun and breeding for more seeds cuz damn seeds are soooo expensive.

I am gonna probably give up on the back one in my pictures because she’s turning yellow and she has had almost zero growth. Which I’m fine with just 3 plants, I have 3 autos that are in my tent that will be going out as well once they’ve built some leafs

Tip for the future: if you put your germed seeds in clear cups of seedling soil, then put the clear cup in a red cup, you can easily pop it out to see how the roots look, how wet the soil is, where the water level is, etc. It’s handy for me, I’m still learning.

Seeing the roots to me is the coolest thing ever. I always put seedlings in clear cups if I have them for that very reason

Just make sure both cups have plenty of drainage holes. And yes, it is cool to see what the roots do!

You’d do better to start a new thread for selecting a grow light. You’ll get plenty of opinions! You’ll want to talk about your grow space and medium (hydro, soil, boutique turds of rare blue toads, whatever).

I haven't grown outside in 10 years or so but they look OK to me. I always let mine get 3 or 4 nodes before I started hardening them off. I always germinated 20 regs for my outdoor crop so I was sure to get around 10 females. I'd start by moving them into full sun an hour or so a day then putting them back in the shade...increasing an hour or so every other day for like a week. By the time they show sex they will be knee high and ready to stick in the ground.

In all honesty I let mine wilt a little before I water in a solo cup.

I really should of waited I know, I got so impatient. I am hoping they’re not ruined, I just hope they’re not heavily effected at the end of it. I’m not looking for monsters, just some decent bud

I’m gonna try this, I just get nervous some days leaving them in the heat with not a lot of water and the low humidity where I live

Okay will do. Do you think they’ll be stunted? Or do you think they’ll bounce back with good care?
