Supports the branches when they start getting heavy from flowering.

It helps to train the plant and hold up the Gargantua buds.

The Azamax worked very well on the two spot spider mites. Still only seeing larva and very few adults that are looking slow and sick. Will do a second spray this weekent with a lighter concentration.

After scrutinizing so many different pesticides this year and deciding to stay away from Avid, my cousin suprised me when he accepted an unlabled miticide from one of his partners to use on his commercial grow. I asked the guy what it was and he said a cropduster friend uses it on corn and it safe up to 7 days before harvest. Sounds like a number of pesticides that I chose not to use because they poison the buds or ruin their flavor. I told him that I wouldn't use a pesticide in my girls without first knowing what it is and if it's safe.

I'm a little ashamed that the greenhouse crop is going to be treated like this. The exact reason we have to be careful with smoking commercial pot. I hope the stuff is actually safe. There's still 8 weeks to go in flower since they just started dep. That gives them enough time to get clear of most pesticides as long as it is truly that safe.

On the other hand, I'm glad I held out against using iffy pesticides on my plants. Even if I don't eradicate all the bugs they'll harvest just fine and I'll do the H2O2/H2O bath to get rid of the bug poop.

I'll post up some pics in the morning. They're pushing 7' right now and growth is slowing as they settle into the flower cycle. The Kush are monsters. I get so excited thinking about next year and possibly upgrading to 400 gal or bigger pots and planting earlier so I can grow legit trees.

I should have my new camera by early next week. That's when I'll transfer all my pics to my big computer and start a grow thread.

Got my new camera yesterday. Getting great sparkly nug shots. Wanted to start my grow log off right and now I can. I won't be posting anymore pictures of my garden on this thread after today. I'll post a link when it's ready.

Pentax KS-1 DSLR w/18mm-55mm & 55mm-300mm lenses. My oldest sister was a professional photographer and she taught me so much when I was a little kid. I wish she could've been here for this. It's gonna be a bitch trying to duplicate some if the processes she did with a film camera. That woman was a magician with an SLR.

I am so stoked, yay.

My new desktop background. I can almost get a shot of the trichs if I manually focus the 18mm-55mm lens. The bundled lens is notorious for having sh*tty autofocus at it's extremes. I'm going after September Photo of the Month. Maybe I'll have my macro prime lens by then so I can do some off the hook close-ups. This is gonna be fun!

My new desktop background on my 40" TV. He he.

The last shots of my garden on this thread and with my phone...

The Kush are starting to touch the shade screen. I hope they just bend against it and don't burn. It didn't feel hot when I touched it under the mid-day sun.

Hehe terrible problem to have, outdoor getting too tall :p Looking great man! Looking forward to the new thread. I thought about starting a new one for my next grow. Have a proper log for the Blue Kripple. I'm excited to see how that Nepal turns out. Found a strain I would like to run; Smooth Smoke it's called. It's (Pakistan Chitral Kush × Nepal Highland P3) × Pakistan Chitral Kush genetics. Pink buds and pistils, looks tasty! I'll be watching!

I'd take that shade cloth off and give them full sun, but that's just me.
Happy Growing

I'd only raise it if anything. It still needs to protect the flowers from fall hail storms. I have friends who lost everything last year. I'd rather have a little bit smaller buds, but that didn't happen. My girls have bigger, healthier buds than the full sun and greenhouse plants.

These started flowering at the same time...

Gorilla Glue, full sun, upper flower

My Royal Nepal Kush, 40% shade cloth, flower on a lower secondary stalk

Thank you. Too bad we gotta chop em down. Some pea gravel, a fountain, and a bistro table, and I've got an English tea garden. :eyepiece: Cheerio!

Punk buds, I like it a-lot. I want to try a Blueberry Cookies next year, if it exists. But only if my coysin lets me have a little more space. Got to have the intellectual creative energy high from a Sativa or Sat. dominant. It counteracts my morphine's heavy drag. Sour Diesel is my favorite but it's too common here. I want to grow trees too, so Kush would be a likely candidate but if a Cookies will tree up I'm interested. Then do a few 36 point mainlined Sativa in 200 gal pots. I'm hoping to do twelve, 6x 15 gal (maybe 40 or 50 gal) & 6x 200 gal pots.

Very excited about next season, learned a lot this year.

Yeah, but look at the volume you pull from fivers. I hope I have that ratio.

Outdoor is pretty easy. The sun does most of the work.

I favor Sativa but like both. Every month I usually get delivered 1 1/2oz of flower, 5gr of shatter/wax, a few pens (just started), and some edibles. The gaps filled in with last years crop, Guerilla Glue and Blue Dream, flower and hash. I like a large cross section of Sativa, Indica, and Kush in different forms to mix and match for the right effect. The combination of meds and my genetic autoimmune disease require some serious marijuana mixology. At least it's fun. It's the only medication I can say that about.

The only time I tried to grow indoor was when I was a kid. My plants were always sickly and usually they were thrown out. In my defense, we didnt have the right lighting and nutrients in every store, there was nowhere to buy plants or seeds, and no internet and easy access to information on growing, and most importantly, I had no money, lol. I'm sure I could do it now, especially after I read through that whole Solo Cup Challenge. That was cool. There were a couple of main-liners I really liked.

Sh*t! I almost lost my runt about an hour ago. Luckily I dote on my plants. It was fine this morning but when I checked on it this afternoon, all the leaves were yellow and hanging. I sprayed it down and flooded it. Immediately it sprung back and the color returned. Almost every leaf recovered. The other five had only a slight sagg. I showered and flooded them too, just in case it was the Azamax. It seemed like it was dehydrated but it got 5gal of water the day before yesterday. I normally give them 7gal every 3 days. Last time I gave them 5 because they were acting saturated. The flowers are stacking and stacking so they could possibly be nerding more water??? Maybe the roots are so dense now I need to slow the water and let it soak in more. Maybe the bat guano sealed the surface and it only seemed saturated. Could simply be a photosensitive reaction with the Azamax. I'd say it wasn't toxicity but the flush worked. Sh*t, IDK.
