Hi everyone. I started growing cannabis 2018 (outdoors only). Looking to gain more knowledge by being here!
My name is Stephan, and I live in Pittsford, VT with my wife, daughter, and uncle.
What led me to this site was looking online for advice in growing cannabis in a greenhouse. I understand that the marijuana plant needs UV light (UVA or UVB?) in order to produce trichomes. How is this effected by growing in a greenhouse? All of the greenhouse kits that I have come across are UV resistant.
What advice does someone have in regards to growing cannabis for THC in a greenhouse? (Using lights in the greenhouse is not an option).
Let me lastly say that we are using a greenhouse for security purposes.
Helllo Stephan from a former woodchuck. Great area down near the battle of Hubbarton site. You need to use a particular plastic thickness, don't cheap out on it. Ill find what we use but heat is the major issue and not lack of uv. At least in my experience.
Clear greenhouse plastic for farmers and growers. Let direct growing light in while still keeping harmful UV rays out with 6 mil 4 year clear greenhouse plastic, available online now at Farm Plastic Supply.
