We had humble beginnings at Royal Queen Seeds, establishing ourselves in the vibrant city of Amsterdam in 2007. However, our small group of ambitious breeders quickly achieved success, and now we stand as the undisputed spearhead of the global cannabis genetics industry. Recently crowned “Seed Bank of the Year” at the international EMJAYS awards, we exemplify an uncompromising commitment to excellence. We’ve managed to reach such great heights thanks to our obsession with quality; each batch of our premium seeds undergoes meticulous testing to ensure optimal germination, vigour, productivity, and potency.
At RQS, we’ve helped to push the boundaries of research and development within the cannabis space. Our team of breeders, geneticists, and biologists have developed an extensive catalogue of unique genetics and became the first in the world to create true cannabis F1 hybrids. These breakthrough varieties feature excellent uniformity, exceptional levels of THC, and improved pest and disease resistance. Our large and diverse genetics library offers something for every grower, from fast-flowering autos to high-CBD cultivars.
Multiple cannabis cup victories helped to propel our ascent in the industry. Although headquartered in Barcelona, Spain, we’ve now extended our physical presence across the world. We have brick-and-mortar locations in Amsterdam and Barcelona itself, and a large smoking lounge, dispensary, and growing facility in the emerging cannabis hub of Bangkok, Thailand. We also entered the US market and now operate out of another headquarter in the West Coast state of Oregon.
