Hi there,
I'm Jon from StonersRetreat and for now weed growing is just something that sounds fun and I would like to try in down the line. I see that the forums are rich in info about seeds so I hope I'll learn something. In return, I can offer some scientific advices about how to best pass a drug test if anybody would have those kinds of problems.

Also I find that weed being legal and you-must-not-be-THC-positive on a drug test don't really make sense but this is the reality in the US today. I want to, I don't know, raise some awareness not only for marijuana legalization but for changing the law to allow people who smoke weed frequently to earn a decent living without being afraid they'll lose their jobs if they test THC positive on a drug test.

Amen to that!!! You dont see oxycontin drug tests......Welcome!!!!
Between holding on to drug testing and not having retroactive ameliorative relief we we are losing a lot of great talent in our employment pool.

I agree with the talent. Many very creative people who are capable of thinking outside the box and contribute to the society in a revolutionary way don't get a chance because they once tested THC positive.
I mean, weren't all the best writers on drugs at some time? If they had drug tests for writers, we would have a lot less appealing literature.

Well yeah that lifetime of partying also provided you and the rest of the world with some of the greatest music and pure artistry we have ever seen. To be fair.

My experience so far in tech is - don't ask, don't tell. And don't show up stoned to meetings. But otherwise, if it helps you produce and don't have to drive or operate forklifts you should be safe. But by all means, innovate. Whatever that means. I have a patent that may be due to cannabis entirely. I thought (eventually out loud) I was seeing something I though seemed stupid or just un-evolved given the state of the art in my work. A bit of reflection and a toke or two and I settled on stupid.

I would mention, my patent did get into the product. So perhaps not the raving of a stoned observer.

I've never had an employer ask for my pee. I'd tell them they were disgusting folks for asking. I don't think I'd play if it were somehow a requirement. I think it is key to a good bit of my creativity - I just cannot relax and flow in conventional environments without it. Too much stimulation spoils the mood.

Well, there is a lot of science to go around. I think it's important to understand what helps to increase THC elimination - but most of the people are really interested how to pass a test fast. At StonersRetreat, there is an article about How To Pass A Urine Drug Test In 24 Hours that kind of summarizes that you can't really expect to detox in 1 day - one thing you can do is get a substitute pee from a friend or synthetic urine (that's actually urine that was designed to calibrate urine tests).

It is :) I just want to point out that if you use someone else's pee, it has to be fresh (disgusting I know). Uric acid in urine when outside of the body quickly starts to decompose and the urine gets that good 'ol stale urine smell - and the lab will immediately be suspicious.

I have to give it to the guys who are watched during the test and use a fake penis. That's some serious Mike Tyson sh*t right there.
