An older guy here posting from east tennessee area, hoping to meet some like minded people of my generation an share the pitfalls an successes! All of the kind of washes together as years past by an people come an go. Actively setting up second location which has been a financial nightmare! Lose this spot have to use this spot but........... Yet you do what you do an figure it this way, "If I can get away with it here, I can do it anywhere!" type of attitude.

Divorce some years back with one child an so I'm stuck here! Never been stuck before? Just finding it hard to deal with emotionally. Yet though, East Tennessee has a lot going for it, weather is good, you get the seasons but not drastically cold or hot like say NJ or Texas. I brought up the idea of moving out to Colorado with my son of 16 an he wasn't real "Cool" with that idea. So I'm here an will stay till he goes to college in a few years. Plus after my divorce my newly ex's mother calls me up an ask if we can "Be friends again since I no longer married to her bitch daughter! LOL" It is what she said an the second question was did I have any smoke since I don't have a wife to say NO. So the next thing I know I'm growing, didn't like the quality out there an kind of knew how to grow, wink wink.

Yet I fear that this may be my last decade I'll be able to expierence, others as I remember in decades have had some good decades that I can look back on an say I have mostly positive memories, yet this one I fear is the one I will not remember but be remember, so I figure why not strive to have the largest grow possible that they will find me in likely dead from stroke or canscer which ever. Buried a lot of friends this decade of my life an know mortallity is knocking on the door so why not enjoy this decade? LOL, like my ex sister in law saying "Isn't that girl of 21 kind of young for you????" as I reply "Hell NO Bitch" she cheaper then the exes, an a lot more fun!

Yet I am beginning to sense as I talk to other people of my age this is fairly common to say the least. The way I see it, the older generation of the 50's is gonna pick up the mantle of being the best of the best in growing of our favorite herb. Just my sense of how it is going on around here.

Best to you all!

Well, thank you, let me ask this. Is anyone using their Can fan an filter as a fan for your rooms? I place a hood vent like on top of a house that pushes the out coming air in all directions? I find it useful, I no longer use regular fans to move air around, well I like it, frees up valuable space.

I use 1000's usually but this new place is tighter an more cramp causing heat issues so I'm using 400's here yet in another place the 600 watters are proving to be pretty good matching up with 1000's nicely in production. Yet I am still trying to tune this room in with 400's, the production was down but had other issues from the get go, so I'm blowing off the results an sticking with the plan. Early signs of this round is positive as long as it continues.

I'm now 100% Coco Nut, all coco an using Lucas's original that I remember an using maxi at 7ml per gallon an 7ml of epson salt per 5 gallon, working like a charm! Happy Happy plants an friends! The little lady down at the hydro shop is dieing for me to buy some 40 dollar special on a 5 gallon bucket, a net top an air pump & air stone, I'm scratching my head an say I already except I fill it up with coco! Yet its not a bad idea been want to try a more hydro set up but why fool with what I got?

Works for me. Yea I'm doing mainly KushnCheese by Dinafem, funny story is that they were part of the freebies from attitude, was planning last year do concentrate on WW but all failed but the 2 freebies an it turns out everyone loves them (god works in mysterious ways)! Great taste an smell an a really nice high. Been doing them ever since, got this plant figured out, not much stretch like the diesels give me an do great with the lucas system feeding, seem quite resistence to normal stresses at least no hermies yet out of them pretty ladies an we have been cloning them like crazy over the last year. I would agree the KC isn't the heaviest producer but a very nice smoke an great bag appeal.

One of the best smoke I remember was the Kushage, yet I was a bit of a noob an my cloning skills were not up to par at least for multiple generations, thinking about trying that one out again, think I still have a few of those seeds someplace???

Hey oldman,
Sorry to hear about the divorce, the kid not wanting to move and being stuck but happy you've joined us!

Love my son, as my ex said that my statement one time really pissed her off when I made the comment that my son was the first time I think I could really say I love someone unconditionally (sorry about grammar, LOL getting ready for work so it is like bong time!). Really the divorce after 18 years was a blessing. Last three years we never talked but to say we would stay together for our sons sake, yet he age an we figure that the hell we were going thru with each other was no longer bearable.

Yet Tennessee is a nice place, pretty as shit up in the GSNP or any of the many fine forest an parks between NC, TN an GA not to mention VA an the Blueridge Parkway, love it on the parkway!
