Hello everyone my name is ryan. I'm new to growing. I signed up to hopefully get some assistance with my first grow. I have just put my plants into flower about 5 days ago. I ha e been able to pick out most of the males. But there are a couple of plants I'm having trouble determining what sex they are. Do males ever grow little white hairs too?
Hello and welcome! Not exactly sure what that is yet? My eyes aren't great but from your description and what I can see it might be a hermaphrodite? I wouldn't pull it yet tho, maybe some others could give you a better idea?
I have seen female flowers grow male sacs almost mid bud. I used to deal with that more often than I cared for when growing in less than ideal temperatures. So the answer is yes, you can have both male and female flowers on the same plant and sometimes within the same bud.
I have old man eyes so the picture is not clear to me. But if it has pollen sacs even though you have white hairs ... you need to get rid of it or at the very least .... move it to another location.
Thank you guys for the info. I germinated 30 seeds they all took off. I have had to destroy all but 11. Is that normal. My grow room was like a bath house with all these dudes in here. Is that just they way it goes sometimes or is it something I'm doing? This is what j have left.

Ya I agree hermie. I see a nut sack in the photo. Definitely male. Males shouldn't have hairs at all. But ya if u see even one it's hermie and kill it. Bad genetics or something like stress caused it. Either way there's no reason to ever keep a hermie.
