Well I'm coming near the finish of my second run. I've done hydrobuckets, and a lot of peatmoss grows. I wanted to see what the fuss with coco is. So far things are decent.
Running 4600 watts of hps in the room 4 plants per net in 3 gallon 2 plants dead centre under a 600w. For a total of 18 plants.
Biggest issues right now are humidity, and gnats .Of course dialing in feed in a new medium can be touch and go at times.
Few more photos still just coasting till the end. Weight is stacking on fast. The medicine (short dense colas) is starting to purp up, the bubblegum (tall colas) is starting to fade in the lower canopy.
So I have a custom blower box I built with a 6 inch inline and carbon filter in it and I need to modify it for bigger one. What I'm working with is a 8 inch chimney I can connect to. I want to push the max cfm up there I can, any opinions 8 inch vs 10 inch? Basically the box is sealed for noise and airtight and I have a 6 inch duct that pulls through the lights. What I'm thinking is adding 1 or 2 more 6 inch on the pull side, a 10 or 8 inch inside the box to push up the chimney. With the ducting there's going to be some lost cfm which is why im thinking about stepping to a 10, but will it get enough cfm to push through a 10 inch carbon filter on a 8 inch out?
