Can someone please tell me what I'm doing wrong. I'm a first timer. she started out good, now about a week and a half and she's hurting bad. New leaves also looking twisted and unhealthy. The other pic is another girl in the same room under the same care, she's doing great as far as i can tell.... thoughts, advice, help??

What soil? Youre giving only water? What water? Tap, RO, distilled?

Fox farm ocean forest soil. Only distilled water so far. Using a spray bottle to water for now.

How much water do you think you use for each plant? At this stage I would already water deep but not wide, just on the base of the plant but making sure it goes deep. They should have a good grip now, no risk of them moving if you water normally.

it's not unusual that some seedling within a batch show some malformation(s) on start up and sometime later on as well.

Also it would be a good idea to stop spraying the plants if you were doing so, specially if you were doing it with the lights on since it can damage them, but now that is winter if you dont have AC or heater I wouldnt spray them even with the lights off, too cold, can stunt them.
As @HerbalEdu said sometimes its normal but at this stage only spraying them is too little in my opinion, you need to water them.

I have been watering the soil with the sprayer as well... trying to stay in top of it, not letting it dry out. I also watered the soil before planting.

Alrighty, should be fine then for now I guess. Update us if after growing a couple of nodes still look weird in the new growth. Could also be a bit of a mutant, got one this grow myself and had to transplant it from the big pot to a small one cause it wasnt gonna grow big, but most of the times the plant starts growing normally after a while even if it starts weird.

Okay, I'll keep doing what I'm doing then. Switching over to watering from a can today. Thank you guys. One last thing... how do I know when to start adding nutrients?

ocean forest is an enriched soil you shouldn't need to feed anything until week 4-5

proper wet dry cycle for the roots are key, let the soil dry enough before watering again.

personally i would stop watering altogether, i did this for months and threw out loads of seedling that got to this point, all the water you are putting in there isnt getting used up so its sitting there and everythings too wet. also for some strange reason it gets really hot . I managed to keep a few going by misting the leaves with diluted root juice , closing the door and forgetting about them for a week.
my other mistake was using garden centre soil which holds onto too much water and putting the seedling straight into hot soil, i started using rockwool cubes soaked in diluted root juice but everyone has their own methods.
