Help a newb pretty please!?

Super new to all of this, if you had to take a wild or educated guess what’s wrong with my babies lol? They’re about four weeks old (2 bigger ones) others are 2 weeks old. Have they outgrown their container and it’s transplant time stat? I just started using nutes a feed ago but the yellow has set in. Halp!

I think you're over-watered. Water to run-off, only when the pots are light. Make sure all your pots have plenty of holes in the bottom for drainage. They have not outgrown their containers.

Way overwatered but they will come back. Temp is good but higher humidity will increase transpiration. Wait a week at least to water again, ocean forest is mostly peat and its too wet.

As tall and spindly as they lok I would get them more light. Lower your light or add more light.

Agreed with all the above. Water properly. Add another or move light closer. and you should be good.

Thanks for the responses, I’ve lowered the light and will not water for a bit to see what happens. I should mention that I water from the bottom up in a measuring cup when it’s time to water idk if that’s ideal lol.

Not really, just pools more water at the bottom. Keep an eye out for gnats til the soil dries.

Although seedlings look delicate and helpless, they are way more resilient than we first imagine. And what they crave is a good thorough watering or feeding followed by a thorough drying out. They’re not crying for water. Just the opposite.

Clear pots are a no along with over watering you're not going to have much success as is. You need to cover or replace the clear pots, let them dry completely before watering again.

You'll need to start a cycle of food then water food, water ect. with a proper line of nutrients. Then keep coming back here for help and read the forums that are of interest to you......Lots of help here if you need it and plenty of experienced grower to draw from....

How do you water from bottom up in these?

By placing the container into the measuring cup, giving it 5-10 minutes to soak up. The clear cups have 8 holes on the bottom with a decent sized mid hole.

I’m worried about the peat containers as they are extremely light now, someone advised a week for not watering but I’m worried, it’s only been 4 days or so and it’s super dry. The lady in the last picture is wanting to fall over to the side also should I add a green twisty to secure and structure it? Also assuming the clear cup is bad for the roots being exposed to light? Should I sharpie the the cups or trans them into their 3 gallon homes now?

No bugs whatsoever as of now, I watched a YouTube video where a duder said the core root area can be bypassed accidentally from a light top water and feeds so he always does bottom feeds and I thought I’d try it. I watched the water flow down the sides in my clear cups and I kinda agree the water didn’t saturate the sides evenly, so who knows about the core.

Regarding the clear cups, just borrow a few opaque Solo cups and slip the clear ones into them. Make sure the Solos can drain.

And sadly, I’m not the best one to advise on watering seedlings!

It may be close to time in the clear cups I can see roots all over the sides which means they’re probably dying as I type this 0.0

Grab some 3 or 5 gallons. Get em swapped over. And they're still fine and on track.

Transplant asap. Look at Plants. Far Right and Far left. Lower leaves are yellowing and the yellowing is spreading up the plants. Your plants are hungry for Nitrogen. Make sure you PH test your water with the Fertilizer mixed in! Other than that your doing ok. I don't think light is an issue. Could be a little over watering see drooping leaves. Pot does not like wet feet so run them on the dry side. I'd give them a heavy feed then back off to General. If you see them yellowing like this again give them a heavy. Looking pretty good.

But the clear cup gives you the advantage of seeing water saturation and it should be showing roots by now. They will grow to the water quickly but also need oxygen, air, thats the purpose of drying out the soil (peat) and adding coarse perlite. Bottom leaves show past damage, likely lockout from overwatering. You got this, new growth looks great, leaves will start praying daily.
