dnt paint. i made that mistake and than it started peeling after a while. Some reflective sheets would be good. take the pots out and cut a circle in the reflective sheet and than pot the net pots back in. also feel the empty net pot with pibbles like all the other once.have any good ideas on the type of paint to buy?
If I water a plant with 5.5pH water but that same water is at 7.0pH the next day, what is the pH of the water the plant is up-taking? (of course there is also the medium's effect on pH in some of our cases).currently im just worried what i can paint it with that wont harm the plant, and will also be quick and easy as this is their only holding space
I let my water sit for 12-24 hours before dosing my pH, however lately my pH has seemed much more stable, raising short term but on an overall graph it’s actually lowering
I vote on cutting an x, don;t have to be so precise and holds tighter. if to much excess in the middle, cut it off.dnt paint. i made that mistake and than it started peeling after a while. either or it works, but when cutting a X the raming reflective sheet would go inside the lid and hit his equipments. Overall you just wanna block the light hitting the water.I vote on cutting an x.
Okay i definitely understand you,If I water a plant with 5.5pH water but that same water is at 7.0pH the next day, what is the pH of the water the plant is up-taking? (of course there is also the medium's effect on pH in some of our cases).
The above is what the app is not telling you. And I think it may be affecting your plants.
by reflective material can i get away with aluminum foileither or it works, but when cutting a X the raming reflective sheet would go inside the lid and hit his equipments. Overall you just wanna block the light hitting the water.
I am making sure my water pH does not rise before bringing it near my plants.Okay i definitely understand you,
so
is keeping my pH and EC probe in my reservoir incorrect? should they be placed up in the hydroton?
ah i sre what you’re getting at, luckily since that cleaning my pH and stayed pretty nominalI am making sure my water pH does not rise before bringing it near my plants.
It must sit for a few days at least (after lowering the pH), without a significant (0.3 or more), rise in pH. Then it is okay to use.
I think probes in the res is fine but I have not done a set up like your in a long time, when I did, I used probes in res to check everything, never in the hydroton/rockwool.
Just looking at your graph in fist post of the thread, your pH rose nearly 0.3 in less than a day.
