Yes yes alot to learn
Don't despair! A lot of success in growing involves stopping yourself from overdoing it: too much water, too much fertilizer, etc.
When you get some more seeds, try putting the sprouts into just good potting soil in a Solo cup to start with. Transfer after two - four weeks to a pot of potting soil with perhaps a mix of good composed manure. That's really all it takes to get them thoroughly into veg. After they gain some height and a couple of months of age, then maybe add some well-chosen nutrients. But again, don't overdo it. Keep it simple and your weed will surprise you!

Hi @Gromis We advise you to look at our Grow guide: https://www.zamnesia.com/grow-weed

Also we do not recommend to use coco coirs for new gowers as coco soil is a little complicated to grow with as beginner. We have seen it gone wrong many times.. https://www.zamnesia.com/grow-weed/295-coco

Please click here for information about indoor growing

For germinating we advise you to use https://www.zamnesia.com/1100-smart-start.html our an equivalent (could be any other brand)
Will Coco coirs works with Autopotsystem?

I don’t advise coir till your used to growing
It’s inert ( has no food ) & you need to feed when it’s a seedling.

Soils more forgiving as you don’t need to feed so early. You also need to water daily so it’s time intensive.

Get used to soil before you switch to coir

Zamnesia is a seller & is posting to push his products

For sure not seeking to sell you anything you don't need. That why i've mentioned that it's okay to use any other brand :) But our blogs do be informative to read, especially for the new growers😇 For the rest totally agree, coco coir is intensive for a newbie, that's why it goes not well most of the time. Just practising with normal soil is a great alternative!

@Gromis Yes, coco coir works very well with an AutoPot system — in fact, it's one of the most popular growing mediums for AutoPot growers.

🔧 Tips for using coco coir in AutoPots:

  1. Mix with perlite or clay pebbles
A 50/50 or 70/30 coco-perlite mix improves drainage and prevents waterlogging.
  2. Use buffered coco
Make sure the coco is pre-buffered or buffer it yourself to remove excess sodium and potassium (which can interfere with nutrient uptake).
  3. Flush well before use
Rinse the coco thoroughly before first use to remove fine particles and potential salts.
  4. Top watering during the first weeks
AutoPots don’t feed from the bottom until roots reach the tray — water from the top for the first 7–10 days until roots establish.
  5. Nutrient management
Coco is inert — always feed with nutrients suitable for coco (calcium & magnesium especially), even from early veg.

Thank you, I think I will be using coco coir after my first or second run. I need to learn as much as I can

You should probably remove the dome, try to get a breeze moving the plants around a bit. Encourages stalk growth.

If you're not putting them outside, you'll need a better light soon.
