So this is a cherrylicious and it was seemingly female at first. The pre flowers didn’t have pistils YET but then they seemingly turned into new apical meristems. This is happening at all pre flower sites. These are not the grow sites that grow in pairs at each node. These were legit pre flowers…. Hoooooow?? And what is this??? Sorry if I’m asking an easy question everyone knows. But I cannot find anything about preflowers changing into apical meristems/leaders somehow.
Ps in the pic you can see the two small pre flower spots that are clearly leaves not male or female pre flowers anymore and one on the opposite side that’s developing into a leader too. There’s the main leader that I’m holding, then the light green stems are the two new leaders that grew out after topping. This is happening on branches that did not receive any topping
