I’m about to begin wet trimming just the major fan leaves on this large outdoor plant, and wanted you guys to give me input on how sound my method will be. For the tent, I’ve tried my best to set up ideal environment, and made a lot of Diy options since I discovered bud rot beginning to kill the plant, so I wanted to start ASAP.

Tent:
Made a little rack for the large colas Ill have to break up since I feel like they’re too large to dry whole. I’ll hang what I can on clothes pins or clothes hangers. Temp is the largest concern, I put my inline fan to full power, which is supposed to displace the air 5 times per minute. Since I have two tents that it is split to, along with some unavoidable bends in the ducting, my guess is that it will actually displace the air 1-2 times per minute. I have an oscillating fan at the bottom of the tent to move air around, and cracked one vent and out a HEPA filter over it with cardboard holding it tight. I put a mini inline fan with ice behind it to try and cool down temps even just a little. Temp has been sitting at 68°F, but humidity I’ve been able to get down to 60 and still dropping. I added unscented silica in cups to try to get excess moisture, and it’s worked so far.

My plan is to wet trim large fan leaves, break up buds, and dry in here for hopefully 10-14 days. Then i’ll dry trim and cure in grove bags.

Can anyone see any flaws? Any tips on getting temps down? I can’t get an air conditioner, i’m out if electrical power, space, and time, plus am hoping to wait until christmas sales to really splurge on good ones.
