Hi guys,
I'm a new/beginner Grower. I have 9 seedlings everyone is about two weeks old. Till a few days ago everythig was perfectly fine. At that point some of the seedling seemed a bit thirsty and I watered them (the last time I watered them was about 3-2 days before). That was a hughe mistake, I think because most of the plants began dropping. And now 2 days later the leaves are looking dried up, they are curled up, they are drooping. I don't know what to do! Can i still save those seedlings?

I am an outdoor grower, I put the seedlings outside when the sun is shining, but only in the shade otherwise the plants would die. At the night I bring them inside, caus its warmer.

(Some of the plants are just doing fine, the ones that are dying are in the fotos)
Ps: they look way worse in real life than on the pics

Is there still hope or should I give up?

Thx for any help!

I agree with Billy, it looks over watered.

Really, what's wrong with it? Just too wet? I just have some regular potting soil, nothing fancy.

So if I let it "drie" up, it will go back to normal?

Ahm. I accidentally let them a bit long outside in the heat. Now the leaves all curled up. Is that normal?

Me personally, I would actually try to repot them in drier soil asap. They are already stressed, so I would try it personally, but either A, increase the airflow by a ton, or repot them. That’s just what I would do though.

No, when they curl like that, they are being cooked slowly. On top of really wet soil that isn’t drying out, the plant is taking in water faster than it can use it, and the heat is stressing them to the max.

Ahhhh shit. So what should I do now? Repot, increase airflow, decrease heat, no watering?!

On the repotting thing, be crazy super careful, they are young enough to not have a big root system, they have been drowning basically. It’ll be better if you do, you won’t have to worry about airflow at that point either. They just need to dry back. But if you can get a hand trowel, get all the way to the bottom of the pot, and gently pry it up, surgically remove the dirt to get to the main stalk, you should be able to get at it with no real damage. Yes decrease the heat, once you have it repotted, if you choose too, you don’t need to water it at the stalk, you need to go about 3-4 inches outside of that and pour water in a radius around the plant, so it’s roots grow looking for water. It’s very easy to overwater seedlings, that’s why a solo cup with holes drilled in them are way better to use.
