WHat woud you guys buys if you wanted it asap. On amazon im looking at these two right meow
anyone with some knowledge have a better lighting suggestion or a reason why I should buy one of these two option over the other.
What’s your grow room size? I like the 4ft one because I would be able to have that across my little room and then have my mixed LED running the length next to. The 4ft also has a even blue to red spectrum which I preferI logged on to spider farm to grab some blurble /uv supplement lighting and they are sold out.

i think your fine with just the spider farmer light you got that’s a nice light. Its for a 2x4 tent that already has a Spider Farmer® G4500 430W
dis forum continues to amaze me.
same.I really don’t think the uv is worth it, or that big of a deal honestly. Though I haven’t taken The plunge on uv myself…..
You don’t need anything else besides that light in that tent. Even with the driver detached, you’ll never be able to run that in a 2x4 at 100% unless it’s a gorilla tent with extra headroom…..even then, doubt it.Its for a 2x4 tent that already has a Spider Farmer® G4500 430W

Im about to take that plunge.... see of there is a difference.... however I think the idea that it helps kill off molds and stuff might be a good idea for basement grower like myself??? I mean uv light is used to treat drinking water...it may not have a direct effect on the plant but for environmental control im trading my old phlizon for the new 1 with uv and irI really don’t think the uv is worth it, or that big of a deal honestly. So why not just get the spider farmer lights on Amazon?Cause it will get too hot? Because the plants will get too tall? Why wont i be able to run it 100? I know i dont need anything except that light but i want extra blue spectrum.
If they are so unnecessary then why does spider farmer make them to go with the light I have? And why are they sold out?
i use to run a 400watt hps in the same tent with another hundred watts of CFL.
why not ?
My understanding is that plants respond to LED lights differently. What I've seen most often is they are more prone to stressing and burning plants and plants need more magnesium. I don't know much more than that.Cause it will get too hot? Because the plants will get too tall? Why wont i be able to run it 100? I'm wondering if its disinfecting capability would improve the air in the home. Odors from the soil bother my wife sometimes.Im about to take that plunge.... see of there is a difference.... however I think the idea that it helps kill off molds and stuff might be a good idea for basement grower like myself??? I ran hps and mh bulbs... let me tell you after using both.... there really is not much of a difference. Put your hps too close your gonna burn your plants plus heat up... led same thing except not heating up as much....My understanding is that plants respond to LED lights differently.
